Sharky's Waters

This is one of the bowls that was made for the custom order. I had made a few of them and they all came out with the same issues. The corners where there was glitter crumbled while trimming off the sharp edges. The main issue though was from the molds themselves. The bottom sides are arcing in the middle of each side, requiring much more trimming (or sanding if that's your method) to get the sides even so the bowls sit flat. In doing so the bottom of the bowls look terrible after being trimmed, and while that part doesn't show while in use, it's not anywhere near the standard of the other resin items I would put in my shop. These molds aren't that old, and haven't been used many times for them to already be becoming misshapen like this. So I've decided to no longer use this particular design and have pulled the few existing pieces I had for sale in the shop since I won't be remaking them or adding more.

Had to take a break from doing photos of the vintage to work on some resin. After doing some neon and pearly bright pink restocks I did this batch, which has a custom order request and some other goodies I made along with it. Today I'll be trimming and finishing these pieces up and then will be back to taking photos. Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Had a few new resin pieces to photograph and started on the vintage as well. I was only able to get through the gold toned tie clips today, but there were a lot of them. Over 1500 photos done so far and will continue with more tomorrow. It took me a bit longer than I had anticipated, so it may be a couple of weeks before I get all these photos taken. Once I get them all done I'll be adding to the shop in batches.
