This is the truest thing ever. I didn’t laugh because I know how this feels and im only 14. I’ve been in this situation so many times and I can’t even drive yet. I am so insecure and shit that I feel sick and I panic if a classmate even looks at me. This is so true it hurts

I totally get this. I’m not gonna tell you that six from now you’ll be able to laugh at it too. Because that may not be the case. But, I do understand. I remember hating walking through the hallways, because I felt like all my peers were staring at and judging me. And, at 20, I still have days like this. But they’re fewer and far between. I learned shortly after hs that those kids don’t matter. Not the 1s, not the 10s, not the 11s, not the damn 100s. I haven’t seen or spoken to most of them since graduation, so what they thought then, doesn’t matter now. What matters now, is the confidence I have. My self esteem. I don’t really look any different than I did back then. I’m a little taller. Gained a few pounds. My hair’s shorter. I shop for clothes in the men’s section. But, other than that, I’m pretty much the same. What’s different is what’s inside. I had to learn to love myself, to see my self worth, whether or not others did. I hope you learn that too. Take care of yourself, sweetheart. Love yourself. 😘
