Percy is a great baker and cook and no one can convince me otherwise, I mean he was raised by Sally Jackson and would probably have to cook for himself as a kid when his mom was working late and itās not like Gabe would cook for him. Expanding on that, Percy and Sally both stress-bake and then give the food out to charity and stuff bc they accidentally made too much.
One thing that uncle Rick made cannon that I refuse to accept is that Annabeth is a better cook and Percy canāt cook. ( I could be tempering wrong so correct me, but like doesnāt he mention that in like the chalice of the gods like the thought just hit me from nowhere and I read the book like when it first came out so itās been a while)
Like give Annabeth a campfire limited resources and foraged items and the result - a perfect edible meal, the best thing you have eaten made by her

Poseidon really does treat Percy like a kitten a lot. Currently Percy has fallen asleep in his dad's arms and it doesn't look like Poseidon will be waking him up any time soon.
But on the following days on Olympus (the demigods are allowed to stay for longer), they see Poseidon scruffing Percy and lifting him up, causing Percy to just go limp. And also they've seen him frequently play with Percy's hair which seems to relax the demigod and settle his ADHD restlessness so much. They also see Percy be carried around or cuddled whether he wants to be or not.
Percy seriously abuses his power over the sea god to get what he wants (mostly for just small things). Poseidon is already a sucker for baby seal eyes from Percy so when Percy is being all sweet and calls him papa at the same time he gets such good cuddles out of it.
And Percy was a manipulative little shit who knew far too well how much power he had over his overprotective papa and he had no qualms about abusing said power. One memorable incident being when he was bickering with his godly cousins (Hermes and Apollo) over something minor and turned from the aggravating bitch he was being to his cousins, to smol baby mode when he spotted his dad, knowing his dad could scare his cousins easily enough.
Yāall know those funny horse pictures/close-ups of a horse? I 100% believe that if Percy had a phone he would just take a bunch of pictures of Blackjack like that. Just like Blackjack side-eyeing him while Percyās just holding his phone at him:

I wish there were more fanfics of Percy being weird/cryptic since technically from everyone elseās point of view, he is weird and can be off-putting even with demigods (and sometimes gods). Especially with how vivid his dreams are compared to most demigods for seemingly no reason (I hc itās bc of Kronos & Poseidon personally) and how extremely powerful he is too. We have no clue what his life outside of CHB is like so thereās also that. (Like what is his childhood like due to growing up in East Harlem (donāt know if this is 100% true), abuse from Gabe, constant bullying from peers, and so much more) let Percy be a little freak pls š

the root of my disagreement with like 90% of the pjo fandom is the fact that i do not think percy is anywhere over six feet tall. i dont even think hes actually six feet but iāll allow it
i love percy being that one guy who can make friends with literally anyone under the sun. the bullied kid sitting in the corner of the room? he's their protector now. the loud weird ultra-rich artist girl? they're hanging out all summer. the angry and bitter god of old age? he's giving him a hug. an ancient creature with the power to bring down olympus? he just named her bessie. hunter women who have been misandrists for literal centuries? suddenly, not all men are bad.

i want to apply this to all demigods but i canāt think of how so. just take it with these three. thank you. percyās eyes being the color of the closest body of water and matching the mood of said water so his eyes are either a gentle green or a raging blue of the sea and you can see waves crashing violently in his eyes. jasonās eyes matching the sky heās under (sky blue jason and electric blue thalia truther) so on nice days his eyes are a pretty blue and they get darker as the sun goes down and at night his eyes are a deep indigo or violet. it starts storming and his eyes literally cloud over and appear dark grey with flashes of lightning within them. hazelās eyes alwayssss changing color with every step to match the closest metal to her feet. thatās why her eyes always appear gold because of her sword. but let her control silver and her eyes are. well. silver. she controls a plethora of metal at once and her eyes are ten different colors at once.
The phrase āthe sea is unpredictable/forever changingā means to you that Percy is unpredictable and chaotic. To me, however, just means that my design for Percy is always changing and I can never decide on a single version.

How I feel watching the PJO tv show:
Iāve been thinking about the idea of Percy being called ālittle lambā by the titans (mainly Kronos) and Gaia since he is technically a sacrificial lamb. Like Gaia literally wanted to sacrifice him specifically. She was just like āeh, I mean if it worksā to anyone else but she wanted him in particular to be the male sacrifice. (Also adds more angst with Percy befriending/protecting Bessie whoās also a sacrificial lamb and also constantly being reminded how he was technically born to die)
