- What are Shardlings?

Shardlings are a miasma based creature that loves to put on shows and plays. They take pride in making roles for themselves and love to congregate with other Shardlings to do said plays for fun.
Their body will always remain deep shades of color, almost black in hue. Their eye color matches or compliments their cloak, which can have an array of patterns. The “Collar” around their necks are either wings or a tail. They do not have arms and hands, but use the miasma of their body to form them when needed for certain tasks.
They wear masks that depict either faces, creatures, or animals, with the most commonly seen masks being some form of Avian creature. Each mask is adorned with painted/decorated patterns depending on how beloved it is to the Shardling that owns it. One Shardling can have multiple masks and multiple adorned ones.
Every Shardling is different and no two are very rarely the same, just like how humans are.
