🎃 Its Spooktober! How would Kung Lao, Kung Jin and Takeda survive a horror movie?! 🎃
It’s always Halloween in my heart, so this ask is still relevant.
Kung Lao: His days as a revenant gave him a front row seat of what horror movie villains are made of. Jason Voorhees ‘immortal’? Cute. Freddy can pull you into the dream world? Child’s play, he should take a look at the Netherrealm. Pinhead from Hellraiser? That’s just Quan Chi’s edgelord cousin and Lao’s been around him long enough to not be fazed by him. Their abilities are kawaii compared to the Lao’s. They literally couldn’t withstand his powers.
Kung Jin: He has Lao to protect him, so he doesn’t have to do anything, but he will. Horror movie villains are always difficult if not impossible to kill, but he’ll at least render them immobile. He’s got cool arrows and the sealing powers of Raiden on his side. The smol shaolin would occasionally screw up by trying to start a car that’s probably been tampered with, or yelling at the villains to show themselves thus provoking them, but he’ll be witty enough to survive.
Takeda: Two words: Jacqueline Briggs. When Takeda trips over thin air while running away from the killer, Jacqui will pick him up and carry him to safety. As Takeda searches for the killer in a darkened building, Jacqui will turn on the lights and drag him out. And if he dares to get possessed by some demon because he screwed with an ancient relic, Jacqui will be there to cleanse his soul. Don’t get me wrong… Takeda’s a powerful and talented individual but when it comes to having enough common sense to deal with your typical horror movie cliches, he’s lacking.
