In this past weekend’s edition of T Magazine, Thessaly La Force visits the Rio de Janeiro home and studio of Adriana Varejão. Designed by Oscar Niemeyer, Varejão’s house is a classic example of Brazilian modernist architecture, and the artist has taken great care to restore and update the building. In addition to some fantastic architectural photography, the article thoughtfully connects Varejão’s work to a reconsideration of Niemeyer and Brazil’s modernist legacy. ___________ Photos: Stefan Ruiz
