..... can’t we just be happy that Shiro’s happy? I get why some people are sad.. but I don’t think that Curtis is a bad person.

We’ve seen him through season 7 and 8, and to be honest I can get why some people don’t like him.. I mean he’s a ray of sunshine! He even cheered for Shiro in the arm wrestling match, he looked overjoyed!

I can also understand that they decided to put Shiro together with Curtis (even if it was on a whim) ‘cause Shiro don’t need to end up with someone who have been through the same amount of shit that he has, Shiro needs someone who will take care of him, and remind him of how important he is. Also I get it, it was sad when Adam died, but I’m in a way glad that they didn’t end up together.. because Adam was before Kerberos, therefore it might be difficult for them to be together. If you think about it Adam was already really worried about Shiro, then imagine him being with Shiro after all he has been through.. Shiro needed a fresh start, and I definitely think that he could get that with Curtis.

Though I am sad that we didn’t get to see Curtis and Shiro’s relationship grow, and I think that that would have helped a lot, because then people might be more accepting toward Shurtis. Also I have mixed feelings about Adam’s dead.. on one side I would’ve loved to see Adam and Shiro talk about what happened, and then deciding to just be friends.. but on the other side if the writers constantly had to not kill gay people or people of color, then that would also become a problem, because everybody should be treated equally. I think Adam’s dead kinda signaled that yeah this guy is gay, but he’s just as much human as the rest. And by killing Adam I think the writers showed and indifference in the fact that Adam was gay (not a negative one, but like it didn’t matter because in the end he was just as human as the rest)

So yeah I think one of biggest flaws with Shurtis is that we didn’t get to see how their relationship developed, but in the end I am just happy that Shiro found someone new to love, to trust, and finally got his happy ending...

(Btw have you guys noticed that it’s actually Shiro that pulls Curtis towards him?)

Can anyone imagine Hunk feeling self conscious about his weight, and like Kolivan won’t let his future mate feel like that?? Well this is how I imagine/think it would go:

Kolivan finds out about Hunk having a bad day (Hunk is feeling self conscious about his weight). The two have been dating for some time (Kolivan calls it courting), and Kolivan won’t let his future mate feel bad about something as trivial as weight.. he weighs way more than Hunk...

Kolivan goes to Hunk’s room, he lights some of those cylinder formed wax (Hunk has told him that it’s called candles) and sits down to wait. When Hunk comes in he is tired and trapped in bad thoughts, he doesn’t realise Kolivan is there until he is standing directly in front of the Blade Leader. Hunk gets a shock and almost trips, but Kolivan catches him and places him on the bed.

Like c’mon guys! It’s a family movie, treat it like that.

Because family movies don’t have to have the most action or suspense.. a family movies job, is to entertain a family.. you know? My parents, my little sister and myself, loved it. Because yeah, it doesn’t really have the most well developed plot, but there wasn’t a point in the movie, where I wasn’t entertained. And the whole dragon business.. well it is a family movie, and kids love those kind of jokes... also.. it has some of the best actors I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing.. I cracked when I saw that the bad guy was Michael Sheen.. because the last time I saw him, he was Aziraphale. Also some people probably find it difficult to see Roberts Downey jr. as anything other than Iron Man aka Tony Stark, and as much as it pains me to say this... Tony Stark is dead! It hurts like a bitch, but he’s dead, and he died a hero’s dead, that he was very much worthy of, and Endgame made me love him even more.. also Tom Holland was Jip! How amazing is that! So guys remember this was a family movie, it’s purpose was to entertain, and one of its plots was kind of like: You choose you own family and it’s okay that it’s not normal.. so cheers to Doctor Dolittle!
