My best friend Mags and I are big basketball fans. I attribute the intensity of my love for basketball to Mags. When we were freshman roommates, I didn’t know how to befriend her other than to watch Wizards games with her. 

Seven years later (!!!) it seems as if 72% of our conversations are still centered around basketball. We’re thirsty gals too, so we created the most important NBA Player Power Rankings out there.

It’s a Google Doc and it’s REALLY well organized and SO nicely formatted. We wrestled only a little over who should be on this list and who should go above whom. I’m glad Marcin Gortat and Joakim Noah, Mags and my respective wildcards, kind of sit pretty in the middle together.

We both think we’re decently funny, and we feel further validated when our best friends see our shenanigans and also think we’re funny. It’s also entertaining to try and guess who wrote which one.
