“Thank you, Chicago, we love you!” Brendon’s voice rang across the theatre, carving paths through the crowd and weaving through their minds. I set my guitar down and looked to my left, my smile widening when I saw that he was already looking right at me, beaming. The best part of touring was walking off stage, when he and I were just out of the crowd’s sight. He’d wrap an arm around my back, guiding me with his hand.
