Assuming KHR ending was indeed a half-finished story (due to whatever circumstances), I think I can trust Amano Akira to have laid out some underlying plots on how representative battle could go. Seeing Chrome-Mukuro, Reborn-Tsuna, Iemitsu-Tsuna, Byakuran-Uni, Dino-Hibari, and Fon-Hibari dynamics make me think that maybe the main theme of this arc is about growth (both figurative and literal).

Plot holes aside, Byakuran's change of heart is always bugging me, mostly because of how drastic and unexplainable it is. But maybe there's an easy explanation I overlooked because of the rushed ending. I see Shoichi and Yuni as the puzzle pieces to understand Byakuran's motivation, but in the representative battle it's mostly Yuni. She said some interesting things.

Like Reborn, Yuni didn't intend to join the battle to lift her curse. She has her own goal. Different ends, but the goal is apparently aligned with Reborn.

But what is Reborn's goal?

To raise Sawada Tsunayoshi.

But Yuni's attention is never about Tsuna in the first place. There's another person who needs her just as much. Probably as mentor figure, but most likely as familial/parental figure of sorts. And this person knew it very well.

As someone who stopped watching KHR for a while because of the first few episodes, I understand where they are coming from. And I’m sure you KHR fans know what I’m talking about: the Daily Arc episodes. Love them or hate them, those episodes do slow down the pace of the series, and it is a huge turn-off for quite a few people.

And so, I made a quick guide to watching the KHR series for those who aren’t a fan of slow pacing animes but are still interested. I thought I’d post it on here as well, just in case any of you want to spread the KHR love to people but they also hesitate for the same reason.

Episode 1-9: Introduction of the main characters

Episode 19-26: First Villain, Kokuyo Arc

Episode 30-31: Two characters are introduced that reappear throughout the other arcs

Episode 34-65: Second Villain, Varia Arc

Episode 70: A character vital to the next arc is introduced

Episode 74-203: Third Villain, Future Arc

*Note: In this arc, there are two seasons of filler episodes: 141-153: Arcobaleno Trials & 178-189: Inheritance Succession, but I highly recommend watching them as the anime does segue into it nicely and they provide insight into certain characters that’s exlcusive to the anime alone

The Daily Arc episodes: 10-18, 27-29, 32-33, 66-69

In my honest opinion, I think it’s worth sitting through the daily arc for it’s light-hearted and entertaining moments, but the choice is entirely up to you.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is the first and the only series to take elements of the Italian Mafia and the fantasy world and combine it into one amazing action series. So trust me, this is definitely worth the watch. Ask any KHR fan and they will tell you.
