You could call it what would be most appropriate. As each sloughed off they grew to new forms. They became my sons.

"My first son I had was when I was just over 1107." His eyes are downcast; embarrassment? "It is hard to make good decisions when that young." He stares off into the empty planescape. "I think he does well, though. He's up in the 500s now."
