drew my bg3 tav as a kid because i was bored. i have so much shit i wanna draw of her with gale but i literally can’t because ive got too much damn homework from my animation class 😔

This shit took me like 6 months cause I kept dropping it and picking it up again 😭😭 anyways, I struggled HARD with interpreting the idea here so I’m going to explain it a little.

Gale is framed within the in-game action icon for the Netherese Orb Blast while the city of Netheril hangs over his head like a constant reminder of Karsus’s folly/the path that led him to obtaining the orb. My intention was to make it look like the pieces of the crown of Karsus were buried deep under the water in the stained glass but it sort of got lost in translation when I tried drawing it because of the small space and also how complicated the crown of Karsus’s design is making it extremely difficult to translate into the stained glass look.

I think that’s the only part that really needed any explaining, here’s the speedpaint for u guys 🫶
