i have some messages in my inbox that have been sitting there for a while but i will FINALLY be getting to them this weekend. more jossam headcanon posts incoming i promise!!!!!!!!!!

i like to think that josh grew up listening to bands like my chemical romance (in fact i’m going to say that they’re one of his favourite bands of all time because this is my echo chamber and i get to make the rules!) and because sam was interested in every little thing josh would mention or show her, she couldn’t help but be influenced by his tastes and immediately went out to buy their cds. so imagine little sam circa 2005-2006 listening to my chemical romance for the first time and becoming immediately smitten because it has the josh association with it plus the music is brilliant so two birds one stone for our little sam. josh and sam never “grow out” of the phase and always listen to mcr together and maybe post mountain events listening to demolition lovers hurts sam just a little more deeper. salt in the wound. no thanks to you gerard way! you’ve got sam giddings crying alone to herself at 3 am with her german shepherd whining at her feet because her fur baby too can sense the distress
