Yesterday: outdoors all day spraying weeds on my boyfriend's luscious piece of land. Started a massive project and it feels SO good! As big as a challenge may be, today really proved how much can get done when you focus on one small piece at a time. We spent a good chunk of the day, but we completed a huge task which allows us to move forward to the next one. Well this is quite the process...."hmm, what do I need for a new climate, new living situation, and hockey in the eternal warmth...for a year?" You might think it's a piece of cake. Embrace who you are, and stop trying so hard to BE perfect. I'm learning this slowly but I've really come to love self improvement that isn't through self criticism. If there are things about yourself you don't like, find a solution to improve and take steps forward. Being critical of yourself makes for a very negative environment up there in that brain you have to live with forever. At work with the pops!! Had a great morning with my bestie helping build ikea furniture, followed by an afternoon building a wall! Great fun-I LOVE building things!
