We were doing good with talking. Morning phone calls, texts throughout the day, video chats at night. He said he wanted to finally meet. So we made plans. Set the date from getting off the app to vibing in person. Fast forward....the date comes. He is nowhere to be found. The calls ceased, the texts are not answered, and the video chat was not available.

I want to talk about some shit that's bothering me today! Hell, it's been bothering me all my adult life. So check it, I have never been in a relationship that lasted longer than 5 months. Can one even classify it as a relationship? Anyways, I'm pushing 40. The shit ain't in the cards at this point. Every time I'm feeling someone or getting to know them or in relationships (or whatever the fuck you classify it) they leave. Most times I'm ghosted, other times they cheat, and every so often it's the "you're too good for me." I was once told that I was too boring to have anything other than a physical relationship with. You know the common denominator in all this? ME

I'm wondering what is it about me that's so bad people aren't willing to try or can so easily walk away. Like any other human I have my good traits and my bad traits. I have a good sense of humor, I have a career, great smile, well-groomed, etc. I'm introverted with quality time and physical touch as my top love languages. I'm helpful and considerate and supportive in helping you be your best self. On the other hand, I can be sarcastic, always got a quick comeback, and at times slow to concede. Plus, I'm attractive.
