He’s a narcissist. He’s just a narcissist. He’s so much a narcissist, he’s so up his own ass: he can’t even imagine that he’s wrong.

I have this big- it’s kind of evolved over time. I have this belief that nobody is fully evil, or fully good. The whole concept of a villain and a hero - that’s all just stories. That’s not real life. There aren’t real villains and real heroes: they’re just people. Some of them who believe, like, are empathetic, and can help other people, but have less selfish qualities. And there’s some people that see everyone else as the villain. 

The true villain is the one that has the most enemies. When you see the world as everyone’s out to get ya, maybe there’s a reason why everyone doesn’t like ya. 

It’s just this concept that no one’s fully, a hundred percent evil because they’re only pursuing what they think is best for them, but some people go about it in a really dick way. A really dick way.

With the Actor, the reason he thinks he’s the hero is because - from his perspective - he is. From his perspective, everyone else is the villain in his story. Everyone did him wrong. And if you put yourself in his shoes, and you look out and you get this warped, narcissistic sensibility about - like, imagine you were as self-absorbed as this - you could see how he believes, truly believes, that everyone else is out to get him.
