In a world that sees how I was born as an execution, surrounded by people who don't want me to come back from the sea they've cast me into.

I want to go for walks without fear, to talk to my neighbors without checking my words, I want to laugh, I want to smile, I want to exist.

Is that so wrong?

I want everyone to feel safe being who they are, I want us all to see the sun and feel how the wind calls us to the future. I want us all to HAVE a future.

Why doesn't anybody else want that?

I've had too many emotions about Iron Lung since watching it, and certain lines / scenes really just.. Hit me far too hard, as a trans person.

Mark has always been an inspiration to me - his content has always been a comfort through dark times and darker thoughts, and Iron Lung has been no different.
