The bars were packed, which thankfully left the streets with enough room to breathe and quiet to hear himself think. It was still low on his list of places he’d like to be at the moment, however, and he wondered idly why he couldn’t have simply stayed in the castle. But then again, he supposed being here was a toss up with dealing with an angry Ivy. Or very nearly, at least. With a sigh, he thrust his hands into his pockets and kicked a stray decoration down the street, glaring at a rather rowdy group of passerby. He retrieved a pack of cigarettes, stopping to light one up and hopping up to sit on some empty crates next to the door of a somewhat less crowded building when he spotted another lone figure. “Are you lost or drunk?” He called, marveling at the length his boredom would push him to. “Or both?"

Ivy had gotten lost quite some time ago. She wandered through the crowd for a while, trying to find a familiar face with no success. Severus had abandoned her not long after the match had started, and she lost Alecto at some point, too. She didn't care who she found, she was just tired of being alone. She stood away from the crowd, watching people come and go, scanning each face that passed by her. After a few moments, she could hear Severus' voice, and her head instantly snapped in his direction. Her eyes narrowed at him as she marched towards him, arms folded across her chest. "Both. Where the fuck have you been?"
He couldn't help but roll his eyes as she came over - why had he decided to open his mouth in the first place? "Oh, please, Parkinson." He scoffed, pushing off the wall in order to stand up just a little bit straighter. "Where have I been? You dragged me to this fucking thing and then you found something better to go play with." His words were dripping with attitude, yet it wasn't as harsh as he could be known to be - him and Ivy were getting along well these days, he could let a little slide. "Besides, it's not like I'd believe you missed me or anything." Severus' tone had switched, baiting her, daring her to disagree.
