Found from another Tumblr account, that apparently Aidan said this regarding Five and Lila’s relationship;
AIDAN: "There's a lot of the relationship with Lila that we filmes but they cut it. It took weeks to film it and they used a few minutes in a montage. That wasn't right. It also made very hard for the viewers to believe when we spent weeks filming scenes to set up that scenario."
So fans saying that Aidan wasn’t on board with it or doesn’t like the ship at all, is wrong.
And also messed up on the editors and showrunners part for cutting out the scenes that they did for that ship knowing that the scenes would’ve possibly received more positively for that relationship happening, because the show COULD’VE been longer and have had the 10 full episodes, if whoever was running it and Netflix, weren’t dumb.

From what I've read and heard, Aidan has never been against this romance despite everything the haters may say about it. They're trying to find the millisecond where they feel Aidan is disgusted in the kiss scene 🙄
My hatred for Netlfix continues to grow! It is largely their fault that season 4 seems to go way too fast on some plots. But no, the money. Always the money! I hope one day to read the scripts of the missing episodes of this season 4 🎀

First of all, thank you for your blog. <3 It is so nice to see this in the sea of hate that the ship gets. You know, I do get the criticism because, on paper, there are some major elements that would normally turn me off of a ship. (Cheating. The significant age difference). But they are so freaking cute, and they just feel right. (To be clear, I am strictly referring to season 4. I would never even have considered them prior to that. But it's been so long since I watched the first two seasons, and I didn't watch the third season at all, so I think the image of Aiden/Five as a child is not as clear in my mind as it is for a lot of fans.)
I hesitated for several days before creating this tumblr. I was afraid of the virulent reaction i might have had. But despite some unsympathetic comments, i'am glad to see that people are free to like this ship. Personally, i never thought to love this ship one day (at least on the romantic side) but season 4 totally convinced me. Maybe a little too fast for my taste (THANK YOU NETFLIX! 💀) but i think that with the restriction of 6 episodes, they did well 🙏
I highly recommend you watch season 3. They are full of nice scenes between Five and Lila 😊

Do you think we’ll ever get the deleted scenes of the 7 years that they were stuck in that Subway? I read that someone said that there was multiple scenes of Five and Lila that were cut.
The show really should’ve 2 more season or at least had the full 10 hour+ long episodes for the last season.
Honestly? I don't think.. Netflix has already posted a video of the cut scenes from season 4 and no scene between Five and Lila was shown... 🥀
Barring a miracle, and knowing that I do not trust Netflix, I do not think that we will ever see these scenes. Maybe with a little luck, we can learn more (thanks to the scripts), but I strongly doubt..
