Me: What did y’all think was gonna happen when the red washed out?

I have noticed a lot of people stating that they believe the boys rushed to release both Love Yourself albums and promote them just to “meet the dates for the AMAs (which this makes no sense because the AMAs weren’t even for 2 more months after the album was released) and BBMAs”. So, I will compile a list of how much time spent between comebacks since the boys’ debut.

2 Cool 4 Skool -> O!RUL82? = 3 months

O!RUL82? -> Skool Luv Affair = 5 months plus they did some follow up promotions with Attack on Bangtan after promotions for N.O ended

Skool Luv Affair -> Dark & Wild = 6 months plus the follow up promotions for Just One Day during this time

Dark & Wild -> HYYH Pt. 1 = 8 months plus follow up promotions for War of Hormone during this time

HYYH Pt. 1 -> HYYH Pt. 2 = 7 months plus follow up promotions for Dope during this time

HYYH Pt. 2 -> Young Forever = 6 months

Young Forever -> Wings = 5 months

Wings -> You Never Walk Alone = 4 months

You Never Walk Alone -> Her = 7 months

Her -> Tear = 8 months

So, as you can see from how much time was spent between comebacks for these last two albums, they were not rushed.

I’d also like to bring up that the only reason these people are giving as to why they were ‘rushed’ are because of the American awards shows they’ve performed at. If they hadn’t performed at them, would these people still considered it rushed?

But what makes them feel this way in the first place?

Honestly, I think it’s because Whites (especially straight, White males) seem to be the only group safe for everyone to attack. And that’s just dead wrong. We’re so caught up with being “inclusive”, which is a good thing, but it seems we’ve made a mistake: we felt as if we had to identify some “bad guy” or “enemy” who was responsible for all the evils in this world. And, since Caucasians are the majority in this country, I guess we had to pin it on them.

Look, not all Whites are the same (just as not all Blacks are the same). But, when you start blaming all this crap on a particular group en masse, don’t be surprised when members of that group start feeling as if their backs were against the wall and start fighting back. Is this the F-ing “racial harmony” we were wanting?

It’s wrong when you stereotype or discriminate against me, and it’s just as wrong when you do it to the White gentleman beside me. I know I HATE being judged by some stupid-assed, blanket racial stereotype, so I know exactly how it must feel when some of my White friends get the same treatment.

But I am tired of people throwing the term “pedophile” around, especially when what they are referring to isn’t pedophilic at all.

The definition of a pedophile is anyone over the age of 18 who is sexually attracted to pre-pubescent children. Typically meaning 12 years of age or younger.

So to call a 22 year old who is attracted to a 16 year old a pedophile is so far off. It’s not necessarily right, but they are not a pedophile.

Standardized testing means that data has been gathered from a large group of people from all backgrounds, including people with mental illnesses, in order to find the most accurate way to test someone’s skills and abilities in a specific subject/area.

Now for people whose anxiety spikes up during test taking, it’s only difficult for you to do well if you make it difficult. I’m not saying that in an offensive way, but mental illnesses are considered a disability. So if you are seeing a therapist, they can contact your school and get accommodations made for you while test taking. Same for college, you can be put on disability services at college if you suffer from a mental illness. And i’m stating that from personal experience, my therapist when I was in high school offered to contact LSU Disability Services to make sure I could have special accommodations while testing, such as being able take a test at a separate time or in a separate classroom from the rest of my class, but I turned down the offer because I’m lucky in that I don’t get panicky while taking tests.
