So um... I’ve been contemplating sending this blog post out for a while now, but i finally decided to do so now.
I’m here to say that I’m quitting writing for stray kids, or kpop in general.
I’m just not as into kpop as I was before, I guess? I have found other interests and responsibilities outside stray kids nowadays, it’s been hard to find inspiration or time to write. I still will support and love the boys the same, I just don’t have the same spark towards writing for them the way I did a few months ago. I hope you guys understand!
That said, I may be leaving the Stay writing community, I won’t be leaving completely. I’ll be moving to a new blog, and if you want to keep in touch, just let me know through dms.

notes: hey! it’s ian!! it’s been reaaaally long since my last writing and i’m trying my best to get back so here’s something for u all!! i was aiming for a shorter drabble (and ig this isn’t a drabble anymore lmao) idk what went wrong gffghfjf forgive me. and ofc,, this is me projecting again so :]]
Note: i did not want my favorite seolar to suffer through another angst fic so eto na @loveaekki mwah. this has a lot of filipino words used so I included a glossary at the end of the imagine!
The repetitive sounds of sneakers squeaking against the floor resonated in the indoor gym’s four walls. Amongst the clusters of freshmen girls gushing over the upperclassmen, younger siblings waiting for their brothers to take them home, and other students just hanging about sat someone tapping furiously at their phone. What could be on their phone that is so important that it enraptured their undivided attention? (Not spoilers about the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, of course not!)
“Nakita mo ba ‘yon? That was such a clean shot, I'm telling you- hey! Were you not paying attention again?”
You looked up to see your boyfriend, all hot and sweaty, holding a basketball in one hand while putting one hand on the bleachers above you, leaning his weight on it. Instead of feeling the intimidating aura one would usually feel when a muscular boy pins you to the bleachers, you try to hold in your laughter after seeing the childish pout adorning Changbin’s face. I mean, who wouldn’t? Stone-faced, antisocial, intimidating Seo Changbin who is almost always found crossing his arms with a resting bitch face? The same Seo Changbin who everyone thought was an ass just because of the fact that he just wears black by default when not in uniform? Surely you must be talking about a different person.
But well, all of those were just observations made from afar.
If they truly knew who Seo Changbin was, they would know that he enjoys watching Barbie movies with you ‘til the asscrack of dawn just so he could help you make an objective ranking of all of them. He adores the color pink, and has multiple phone cases of the same color that he insisted you buy too so you could match. That he can often be found laughing obnoxiously loud with his friends during dismissal, hanging around by the gates to buy Kuya Arthur’s special kwek-kwek and iscrambol, even paying for their portions when he can.
“Sorry na, bubot. But that was the only time I looked away from your scrimmage! You did amazing, by the way.” You reached into your bag, bringing out a towel for him to wipe the sweat away from his face. “Wipe your face off already! Hay, it really is hard being a courtside jowa.”
“Bobo, you were just sitting here the entire time while I played my ass off! What do you mean it was so hard?”
Well, while you were out there being all cool and scoring basket after basket, I had to listen to your growing horde of fangirls.” You subtly gestured to the group of girls perched on the bleachers’ highest point, who hurriedly looked away with red faces when Changbin looked at their direction. Well that’s definitely something they’re going to squeal about later.
“But anyways, are you ready to head home?” You ask as he reaches for the water bottle also in your bag, ignoring the glare you gave him when he drank from your bottle instead of his. (You’ve been scolding him about that habit of his for ages, but all you get is a wiggle of his eyebrows accompanied by some teasing- Ayaw mo ‘non? Indirect kiss?)
“Wait lang. Let me say goodbye to the boys first, and then we can go.” And with that, you stood up, following him over to where the rest of the boys were.
“Oi, Kuya Bin! Do you want to come with us? We’re heading over to ‘Lix’s house, we’re ordering in pizza and playing some games tonight.” Hyunjin asked. The other boys on the team that were in his year level bounded over as well, making knowing faces after seeing you trailing behind their teammate. Changbin chuckled at the faces his juniors made before gesturing to you.
“Sorry guys, pass muna. Ihahatid ko pa ‘to eh.” After grabbing his schoolbag from the bench, he strode back to where you were chatting with Chan, letting you finish your conversation with Minho before grabbing your hand and waving to the rest of the team, ignoring the chorus of “yie”s and “sana all”s that followed.
When people think of Seo Changbin, they immediately think of the intimidating shooting guard of the school’s basketball team but in reality, he’s the sweetest, least threatening person ever. He loves bringing you flowers, he loves listening to sappy music and writing you random love poems, and most of all, he never fails to walk you home after every school day.

* Nakita mo ba ‘yon? - Did you see that?
*kwek-kwek - street food! it’s a neon orange ball with a boiled egg inside
* iscrambol - basically flavored crushed ice. usually served with mini marshmallows, sprinkles, flavored syrup and powdered milk.
* bubot - literally means unripe, but can be used as a term of endearment of sorts, kinda like baby
* jowa - gender neutral term for significant other
* bobo - idiot
* Ayaw mo ‘non? - You don’t like (it)?
* pass muna. Ihahatid ko pa ‘to eh. - Maybe next time. I have to take her home first.
* sana all - directly translates to hope all, expresses the desire to have something someone else has, in this case, a relationship.

jjk + filo tour guide!reader aka satoru hitting on you, every chance he gets

you fiddle with the paper you have in hand, the word ‘gojo’ printed in bold capital letters. it’s another day of being a tour guide for tourists who came abroad just to visit and see the beauty of your home country, the philippines. foreigners have been going in and out of the country lately, with the endless options the country has to offer. it has 7,107 islands (7,108 during low tide) to begin with.
however, it’s not just the view that tourists look forward to, they also anticipate the filipinos, the locals of the country, who are known to be hospitable. they are welcoming and kind, smiles can be seen wherever you go.
you were pulled out of your little daydream by a good-looking guy towering over your figure, he tilts his glasses down, piercing blue eyes intensely looking back at yours. you gulp the lump in your throat, your hand that’s holding the paper tightens, he’s a handsome man but he’s intimidating at the same time.
“are you perhaps y/n l/n?” satoru’s flawless english accent fills your ears causing your cheeks to feel hot. in your defense, it’s sexy and pleasant to hear! as you're about to introduce yourself, maki interrupted by hitting satoru in the back of his head, scolding him in the process, megumi bowed at you, mumbling apologies in english.
“you were scaring them! what if they're not our tour guide?” maki pinches satoru’s side making him yelp in pain, he fakes a gasp offended by the statement. “with this handsome face of mine? scary??” he then looks back at you, the two were conversing in japanese making it hard for you to follow.
“did i scare you?” he asked in english, this got him another hit from maki for not getting the point. yuta pipes in not wanting to cause any more scenes in the airport, “are you a tour guide?” he asked with a gentle smile on his face, you nodded, finding comfort in his smile. “are you mister gojo sato..ri?” you asked not sure with the name, you mentally scold yourself for not taking time to learn a thing or two about your client.
“it’s gojo satoRU, babe” he corrected, smirking when he noticed how flustered you easily got from the endearment, “please don’t flirt with our tour guide, we still need them for the rest of the trip.” nobara groaned, speaking in their native tongue, your eyes widened at her statement shaking your head.
“f-flirt?!” you replied, “you know japanese?” yuji immediately asked after hearing you, “not really, more like a phrase or two” you sheepishly smiled, this made yuji pout wanting to converse with you more but alas his english vocabulary is limited.
“oooh, i like them. can i take them back home?” satoru turns and looks at his group of friends, who in return, look back at him with horrified expression.
there was no other word to describe the first day other than chaotic and all over the place. this day marks the start of how you became a tour guide for gojo satoru and his group of teenager friends. you better buckle up because the next two weeks are going to be very interesting.
the group chose not to do anything on their first day considering the exhaustion their body must have felt because of jet lag. luckily for you, you get to rest and anticipate what experience they might bring you for the following days.
the next day, you got the tourist spots and places to eat all planned out in your head. you greeted them outside the hotel they are staying in, which is a fancy five-star hotel might i add. “y/n~!” satoru skip walks towards your direction as soon as he sees you, he's the first one to feel comfortable with new people compared to his companions.
“hey, did all of you have a good rest?” you give them a little wave, they answer you with a chorus of hums. satoru being a cheeky man, “a very pleasant dream considering you were in them.” he sends a wink your way that makes you roll your eyes with a small smile.
“he really likes them huh?” yuji mumbles to megumi who’s nodding at his words. you clap your hands changing the topic, “for today’s agenda…” you start listing the things that they will be doing, looking at each of them to see if they’re following. you look at the clothes they are wearing and nod to yourself, “let’s go shop for clothes first, yeah?”
nobara gasps exasperatedly at you and gives you the most offended look, “i’m hurt!” she fakes a hurt expression and did a twirl, “this,” she gestures at her beautiful yellow sundress, “is too beautiful to be topped of by some silly souvenirs-”
before nobara can go on about her outfit, satoru interrupts her and sling his arm around your shoulder. “where’s our ride, baby?” he looks around before landing his eyes on you with a playful smile, “i mean yours is right here but that’s for another talk.” he winks as maki pulls him away from you.
“sorry,” maki gives you a sympathetic smile, you laugh a little, waving it off. “we don’t have a ride,” you started off, their reaction differs from one another. “..for today.” you finish with a smile and lead them to a jeepney terminal nearby.
you hear a loud gasp from behind, you turn around and see nobara with her mouth agape. you smile sheepishly at her while rubbing the back of your neck, “yeah... sorry about that, miss nobara.”
to help you visualize;
what gojo, yuji, and toge are doing is called 'sabit' here in the philippines. wherein they hang from the door whenever the jeepney is full, this usually happens during rush hour since everyone wants to go home fast.
yuji cuts nobara by excitedly walking in front of you, “we’re riding that?” his voice is not as loud as usual due to his lack of confidence in his english, you nod at him and hold out an arm for him. “let’s go?” he gladly link arms with you, the two of you are first to go inside.
the jeepney doesn’t have any passengers the moment all of you get in, thus, toge occupies the seat at the end where people get in and out, which is the best seat in my opinion, seated next to him is yuta, followed by yuji and megumi. sitting across from toge is maki beside her is nobara, you, and satoru.
maki stifles a laugh looking at him, you panic a little not expecting this to happen, ‘oh god, this is the first day and i’m already screwing it up’ you thought to yourself as you try to ease satoru’s pain from crouching too much, the jeepney soon filled up faster than your estimated time.
satoru watches people pass fairs person by person, he then remembers that the group haven’t paid yet. you’re about to pull out your coin purse and pay for them when satoru’s hand stops you, he pulls out his own and grabs a blue bill.
your eyes widens at this beside the fact that his wallet is full of them, he’s already passing the money to another passenger. you gasp a little, poking his side, he turns and looks at you, “what?” he cluelessly asks.
“that’s a lo-” the jeepney driver didn't let you finish your sentence, he held up the bill between his fingers looking at the rear-view mirror, “wala kang barya, ‘toy?” (don’t you have a smaller bill, boy?) after glancing at the driver, satoru looked at you with confusion written all over his face.
“that was a lot of money to give with a ride like this,” you politely inform him while maki fakes a cough, “dumbass” she mutters under her breath looking out at the view but not before hissing at toge for the nth time, who kept dangling his feet out. toge just giggles and sticks his tongue out at maki.
meanwhile, megumi is having a rough time enjoying the breeze that the jeepney is setting due to its speed. he tries not to show it on his face as he felt the person next to him flick stray sweats towards his direction, he scoots closer to yuji opting on listening until his ears fell off rather than the sweaty man.
on the other hand, satoru looks back at the driver with the sweetest smile on his face, “keep it, no need for a change.” he said with a smile while the passengers looks at him astonished by the scene. he returns on looking out the window, sticking his elbow out the window enjoying the view like he did not just give a thousand peso bill in a jeepney ride.
he basically paid for at least three routes packed with passengers. your bewilderment fades away quickly seeing his actions, “mister gojo! your elbow! keep it inside! and for the love of god, slouch a little, or else you’ll hit your head when a bump comes around.” as if on cue, he hits his head on top of the jeep. he lets out a yelp and looks at you with a pout, both of his hands nursing the top of his head.
the jeepney is packed and all seats are taken, in addition, two men are rushing to get to their destination as fast as possible. said two guys hang by the door after giving their fair, “y/n! y/n! why is he standing outside? i wanna do that too!” yuji looked at you excitedly. “oh me too! me too!” the overgrown tree of a man next to you who quickly recovers from his dramatic act earlier.
next to yuta, an old lady kept asking for his number, “you know iho, my granddaughter is about your age, i think she will like you.” contrary to yuta’s apologetic smile, toge’s glaring at the lady, gripping onto yuta’s arm.
“uhm, ano, sorry. but i am not looking for a relationship right now.” he bows his head a few times, apologizing for not taking her request. this boy is too pure for this world, i swear. “what about that white-haired boy? did you dye your hair iho?” she peeks from yuta’s side to get a good look at him.
toge just harrumphed at the old lady. “ah, he’s not allowed to be in a relationship yet, and yes did dye his hair.” yuta answers-lied for toge.
while all the chaos is happening, nobara and maki are talking about their next destination. megumi, oh poor megumi, is trying to scoot closer to a talkative yuji, who won’t stop talking about making sabit outside the jeepney, in hopes of getting away from the sweaty man beside him. you sigh looking at the things happening around you, never in your tour guide life have you ever expected this… the day is just getting started, you haven’t arrived at your first destination yet.
Ugh, I ran out of bullets!“ you groaned as your enemy one tapped your agent in the game that you were playing.
"Hey there” you felt someone’s arms wrap around your neck. “Now that you’re done with the game, can you come and cuddle with me in the couch now?” Changbin whines as he gives your head a kiss. You’ve been playing computer games for hours now and not giving your boyfriend the daily love and affection he needs.
"But I need to rank up, Bin. I promise I’m yours later, okay?“ you glanced at his sleepy face. You earned a soft sigh from him as he pull away from you. As you focus back on your game, buying all the items needed before the round starts, Changbin’s shadow appeared at your side who looks half asleep with his plain black hoodie and Adidas sweatpants.
He lightly tapped both of your hands away from the keyboard while he sits on your lap and engulf you for a hug like a koala with a tree. "You comfy there?” you shot him a question as he snuggled his head on your neck as a ‘yes.’
Minutes later, your game ended up with a victory and a lightly snoring Changbin. You tapped his back softly to wake him up. “Binnie? Wake up let’s move to the bed"
You feel guilty for spending the entire game playing computer games and ignoring Changbin who had a rough week in school. His arms still wrapped around your waist while you both walked inside the bedroom.
"Let’s put you in a more comfy place to sleep, hm?” you told him while tucking him into bed.
“But hugging you is comfier than this expensive Ikea bed”
Your professor drones on about something about sounds and meaning while unbeknownst to him, you were off browsing on twitter, looking for photocards to add to your collection.
"Are you even listening?" Changbin asks, bringing his hand to touch your phone screen, laughing when you slap his hand away lightly. "Well, not really. This lecture is recorded anyways." The boy scooches closer to you, pulling his laptop along as he repositions himself so that he was on his stomach facing you . He looks over to have a clearer look at what you've opened on your phone and immediately pulls a face once he sees what you have been looking at for the past 30 minutes.
"You're still collecting those Sungjin photocards?" He pouts, cupping his face and fluttering his eyes at you. “Why do you need to collect another boy’s photos when you have one right here!”
“Last time I checked, you weren’t a member of Day6.”
The boy responded with a childish whine, burying his face in your pillows and kicking his feet repeatedly.
“You’re acting like a kid, Binnie.”
Another whine.
For the rest of your class, Changbin was silent, except for the rustling of the sheets every time he had to shift positions to stay comfortable.
“Why are you so upset about this?” You inquired, closing your laptop and putting it aside. You felt your heart skip a beat at the sight of him. Almost a year of being with him and the sight of him, bare-faced and messy-haired still made you feel weak in the knees.
He paused for a minute, before answering in what you thought was the softest voice you’ve ever heard him use.
“I want to be the only boy making your heart thump faster.”
With red cheeks and an impossibly wide smile, you tackled him in a hug and peppered his face in all the kisses you can manage to give him. Meeting his gaze, you gave him one last peck on his cheek before settling beside him, letting him rest his head on your chest, him failing to hide his chuckle at the fast, steady pounding that met his ears.
“Do you hear that? There's only one person who can make my heart thump as fast as it is doing so right now, and that person… is you.”
