rip seth

hi. let me start off with the obvious. i suppose seeing this message on the dashboard you would assume “oh no. crissy meant to post this in the ooc.” but no. unfortunately not. you see, this is on the dash so EVERYONE can see it because, who’s EVER in the ooc, right? everyone’s in one of those lovely, lovely skype calls. 

ah. well. here’s the fun part. i’m leaving. that’s right. i’m gone. gone, gone, gone, gone gone…GONE. poof. gone from the rp in a flash. my, my how sorry crissy is to go. you know, i really loved seth. really, really, really loved him. like more than anything. someone else might have written him but he was my bby. just i loved him so much. i just wanted to kill him off so no one could have him. honestly. just because i couldn’t bare the idea of seeing someone else playing him. i mean, in this rp people die ALL the time, why is it that i can’t have this one thing? everyone loves drama. why not have some? this would have amped it. 

anyways, enough of that. i guess you guys will have a new seth, right? one day you will. a new seth who isn’t crissy who against my will and happiness will NOT be me. oh and i guess you are also getting a new ivy too. surprise. yes, that’s right, yoshi’s gone too. we're both gone. off into the sunset and around the bends with our bbys. just like most others…we were just a bit late s’all. by the way, what you did to heather? that was great. really. so mature. wait to go. well then, why mourn us when you can just rejoice having a new seth and ivy, right? isn’t it SO exciting. i hope it is. though, if there’s one thing i know it’s that you can reopen our characters, give them to other people, have them morphed and changed and played by other people but they have died on this day for us.

so off i go. kisses, waves, whatever. goodbye, good day, good lives. i’m going to go bury something in a shoebox in my backyard for sethums.

Clara (laughing as she shakes her head, pretending to ignore the fact that he knew it was Gossip Girl): I'm...going to pretend that you didn't just... You know what? I'm hanging up on you now. Seth: There aren't enough words in the English language to describe that woman...scratch that, there are no words in the English language to describe that woman. You'd actually need new fucking words and then you'd have half a chance of putting out something decent.

Clara: I'm ignoring that amount of lame I got in that visual. You just told me /not/ to scare her. Now you want me to go and tell her I want her back? Have you been smoking that foreign kush, Seth?

Clara: I'm really glad. Enjoy it while it lasts, you know? Reality will come back eventually, but not today, and thank God for that. Make this count.

Clara: Let me just...mix around the name in this quote that is /perfect/ for this occasion... Okay... Here it goes...

Clara: Look, easy Socrates. What we're entitled to is a trust fund. Maybe a house in the Hamptons. A prescription drug problem. But happiness does not seem to be on the menu. So smoke up, and seal the deal with Ivy. 'Cause you're also entitled to tap that ass.

Seth: [Seth closes his eyes and shakes his head, laughing at the words reaching his ear drums.] You're not going to throw in one of those "you know you, what is it? Love me? Xoxox" things or whatever?

Clara (sounding rather indignant): I can still have you put on the fucking terrorist watch list, Johnson. Shove your collage up your ass...

Clara (groaning, automatically regretting asking him for advice): Yes, yes. Wonderful. Shoes and patience. At least I'm good at one of those. Look, it was stupid to ask you that, and I'm glad you guys somehow magically worked things out. Focus on keeping her this time around, alright? I'm just...going to go wallow and shop or something equally pretentious.

Clara: Now, what were you going to tell me?

Seth: It took me like three hours to make that I'll have you know...

Seth: Why not tell her you want her back instead of sitting here wallowing and shopping?

Seth: Just that I'm happy.

Seth: With her. Here. With fucking Amsterdam where life isn't an endless parade of bullshit.

(There is a pause. Clara is obviously embarrassed.)

Clara: Maybe if Ivy's...letting you back in...then maybe she'd...

(Another short pause.)

Clara: I don't know. Then maybe you could help me get her back too...?

Seth: [Seth swallows, slight noise fluctuates in the background as Seth shifts the phone.] You want me to help you get her back?

Seth: Do you have a elementary collage of her smiling that you spent good time on, your undying love or a ticket to Amsterdam to give her?

Seth: I mean, fuck. I don't understand why your asking me, Seth Johnson, someone who's a pro at losing Ivy Brownstone.

Seth: I do...get her back get a bit though, huh?

Seth: To be perfect honest, I'm not sure how to get her back. I don't even know how I got her back, or if I did for good. I'll never understand. I'm not special really, she could have any guy in this joint...but...

Seth: [The male shakes his head.] Sorry, off topic. I'd say that she likes nice things. Shoes? Louboutins or whatever? Those are great.

Monet: But try to.

Monet: She's pregnant so I can't make any promises.

Monet (unsent): I'm going losing you again, aren't I?

Seth: Monet. If everything is on fire and all of Deering is debris, all I need to know is that that box of pizza pockets is still intact. That's my own request. I'm sure you can manage that. Tell her that.

Clara: Trust me. I'll beat you there.

Clara: Are too.

Clara: I'm not promising that I won't laugh, but sure. And uh...only if I get to ask you a favor?

Seth: We'll see won't we?

Clara: I wonder if they'll spank me with a ruler in Hell. That would be kinky as fuck.

Clara (laughing): My inner ten year old just shot yours in the face.

Seth: [Seth laughs, a smile appearing on his face, voice dripping with sarcasm.] Careful, killing is a "sin." God might smite you.

Seth: She has. A lot. She does almost everyday really.

Monet: Don't you dare be like that. Fucking hell, Seth. Don't you fucking get it by now? I would give everyone up to keep you close. But I don't because sometimes, I do need other people in my life.

Monet: And thanks for asking if my girlfriend was okay. It's not like she came to our apartment, beaten to a bloody pulp.

Monet (unsent): Please don't leave me. I need you.

Monet: When she was kidnapped, they raped her, Seth. They raped her. I should have been there to help her. I was supposed to go out with her but I didn't. I hate myself.

Seth: We are close, Mon. I'm not telling you you can't have other people in your life, I just worry, alright?

Seth: What happened to Nina? Wait girlfriend?

Clara: Superheroes don't exist. And if they did, I wouldn't be one of them. Don't get the wrong idea, okay?

Seth: My inner ten year old just punched you in the arm for saying that.

Seth: I guess I was wrong about her.

Seth: Or she just wanted a free trip.

Seth: Either is fine I guess.

Clara: I was going to stay. Really was. But I got a call from a friend in Deering who had gotten into some trouble and needed my help.

(Small pause)

Clara: Now I'm back and everything still sucks. I'm planning on making another visit ASAP. What can you do, right?

Clara: Oh? And who might that be?

Seth: Some trouble? I never pegged you for a superhero, Clara.

Seth: Not much.

Monet: I know you're mad, Seth. And I know you want to leave but please don't. I need you there. Especially after what happened to Nina.

Monet: ... Do you swear not to tell anyone? I don't know what would happen if word got out.

Monet: I accepted Ivy in your life. Do the same for me.

Seth: You'll be fine. You've got Hunter now, don't you?
