August 4th - Airport Delays: Comment on fics over 20k

It's day one of our world trip Commetfest and we are temporarily stuck at the airport for a while! Luckily there are all these long form fics to keep us company! Spend the 4th reading and commenting on those fics over 20k! Bonuses if you comment on every chapter if it's a multichap!

August 5th New and Exciting Local Cuisine:: Comment on fics in a new fandom

We have arrived at our destination!! It's time to sample the local fate! Go explore that new fandom you've been interested in, find some fics, and just leave a comment!!!

August 6th - Learning a New Language: Comment on fics not in your first language

It's time for your phrasebook and/or translation app to come in handy! Find fics in your fandom not written in your first language and give them some love by just leaving a comment!

August 7th - Breathtaking Vespa Ride: Comment on as many fics under 2k as you can

We are weaving in and out of tiny roads we are dodging fruit stands we are speeding on our vespas in the countryside!! Take in as many sights as you can by commenting on as many fics under 2k as you can in one day

Each day has a theme & 3 prompts to choose from.

Each day has a seasons-related theme, and three prompts that fit into the day's theme. The three prompts you can use are: a word prompt, a scenario prompt and a dialogue prompt. You can use any of these prompts, or all three, if you're ambitious! If none of the day's three prompts speak to you, you can create something based on the day's given overall theme.

The final day is a free day, for you to create whatever you wish!

Whatever you create inspired by these prompts is welcome!

If you’re not a creator, SessKag week is an excellent time to show appreciation to your favourite creators! You can make fic rec lists or reblog your favourite fan art or make shout-out post to thank the creators you like! And of course, you can always comment on the new fanworks created for the SessKag week and/or reblog them to share with others! 💕

Fluff week ⁷ - Your Grandma said what?!

Lmao, okay- okay. So hear me out... I had no idea where I was going doing sketchy panels/comics- zero direction. I kinda just went with whatever popped into my head.

Firstly, Shippo. My dear wee bean. I totally imagine this lil baby when he first wakes holds his tail like a comfort blanket. Like, please. Please don't take that from me. He even has his mama's cardigan on his shoulders. 😭

Second, I love her. Inukimi would 100000% be the one to be like- oh my son has interest in another- hold on. How many buttons can I push until he either a)Snaps or b)Embarrassment. She would be the one to play chicken with a train.

Honestly (also), I think she would just love Shippo. Like omg he's cute and a menace- Omg me too! 🤣💖

I do hope you've enjoyed this fluff week. Thank you for putting up with my panels not being the cleanest and my delays. I enjoyed this silliness. 🥹💖

Well, in a sense. I don't think Sesshomaru knows how to exactly pinpoint 'love,' but he's learning! Baby steps okay? Okay.

She admired the tiny, scrunched-up face and revelled in the familiarity of the warm weight clutched snugly to her chest. She bent in, pressing her nose right between the small, furry triangular ears that twitched in a response.

That newborn smell. It was intoxicating.

Tears pricked her eyes and her heart somehow was simultaneously floating and weighed down by the enormity of this tiny creature in her arms. 

A hand settled on her shoulder, steady and assuring as it grounded her with a gentle squeeze. His breath tickled her ear a moment before his low voice rumbled the soft question: "Do you miss it?"

The smile bloomed on her lips, swift and sure and her slanted gaze found a pair of knowing golden eyes.

"A little. But not enough to go through all of it again, even if it was possible," she confessed with a laugh. “No, this, where we are now, feels just right, don’t you think?”

He pressed a kiss on her temple. “I do.” His claw-tipped finger brushed the baby’s chubby cheek, so achingly tender. “She is perfect.”

“Our little one’s first. Can you believe it?” The smile she flashed him was tremulous.

“Hnn,” Sesshoumaru hummed. “I remember when he was this tiny.”

“Just yesterday,” Kagome agreed, her voice light and teasing. “Well, grandpa. Would you like to hold her?”

“Eventually. For now, I will hold her grandmother and let her enjoy the moment.”

She laughed and leaned against him, enjoying his warm solid strength and the tender cage of his arms as she smiled down at the child she was holding against her heart.
