“Oh really? Then maybe I should make sure it means the absolute opposite of whatever it is you’re wanting to hear.” She rose her eyebrows over at him in question, a smirk strung lightly across her lips. She’d never truly be that mean, it was all just fun and games with the other blonde. “I know you’re an adult, but I can still worry right?” She pressed her lips together as if she was thinking, her head tilting just slightly. “I do want you to come. I’d need some kind of company there.”
“You’re a tease,” he mused, matching Carly’s smirk with one of his own. He knew that deep down they cared about each other, but showing it wasn’t so easy. He really didn’t expect her to take him up on the whole tagging along vacation idea, but was pretty glad she wasn’t opposed to it. “Yeah, yeah. I guess you have a little right to worry, but I doubt they’ll even know I’m gone. I’ll just make up an excuse. I do have things to do outside of work, after all.” He was grinning now, fully. “You mean it? Alright, when’s this happening?”
"Only to you Wilder," she held her hands up as if she had just lost an argument, a small smirk on her lips. Really, she didn't mind if Casey tagged along on a vacation. He'd definitely be better than having no one come along, and still better than some of her other friends she could ask. At least with him, if they wanted peace and quiet, they'd leave each other alone after the first time of being asked. "That's true. I guess we both do huh?" She then shrugged, leaning back in her chair. "Sometime after school gets out and I don't have more than one piano lesson in a week."
