It’s not going to get brought up much in the AJCO plot so I thought I might as well write a slightly rambling summary of the important bits of Egg’s backstory, in less than 1000 words. It may be surprising, it may not. feel free to ask questions overnight

In every world; a constant. When even one’s own flesh is unfamiliar.

Beneath. Feel the tug and heft and groan of it. Boiling. Wrenching.

The dark, tilting ocean that binds each to each; hell to the snowfield and twilight to the the swaying, giddying full-dark of the end.

We called it the Void.

Black. Like the shape of ten thousand starlings that lift and follow and murmur and blot the sun.

The Void.

It is the binding of all worlds.

To be loosened by the point of a needle.

And it is there that you may fall from the world.
