There still a steady gaze on Creme. Watching as the other trips on their own words, almost feeling the tiniest amount of remorse for him.

   Whirus let’s out a loud yawn, blinking a few times. 

“Stop babbling you are making a fool out of yourself.” He says.

   “And will you stand up already.”

    -- It was hard for him not to view the other’s yawn as a bad thing. He was boring! He was boring him! God, why couldn’t Creme do anything right? It was almost as if other’s dissatisfaction was the only thing he was good for...

    Oh!

“Yep, yep!” She nodded, “Mr. Satan’s the strongest human who ever lived. He saved the universe a whole bunch of times. This is the blu-ray, HD restoration of the classic Mr. Satan movie: Mr Satan Z! Clash of the Gods! It’s my boyfriend’s favorite movie. Y’know, before the Satan-Saiyaman cinematic universe franchise took off.”

“My name’s Berri by the way,” the friendly girl smiled with her arms crossed over her chest, stilling rocking back and forth. “What’s yours?” 

    ❛ Is that right... ❜ not a single clue of what she was talking about, not a single word of this rang any bells. She seemed knowledgeable-- it would be a challenge to act as if he knew what he was talking about, or even have genuine interest in what she was saying. Human culture was... Too weird, too different than what the poor serpent was used to-- but from the sounds of it, this was some sort of movie...RIght?

    Ah! There he was, lost in his thoughts again. She asked a question. Fuck. Fuck.

    Despite his overwhelming height in comparison to the young Saiyan, Creme flinches, seemingly cowering under Pinich’s words-- had this been anyone else, Creme’s reaction might have been even more severe. The state of the other was worrying on its own-- and he could only find himself wondering how even at a time like this, Pinich could only focus on getting stronger. A step back is taken, fully focused on the flame in Pinich’s eyes, he... He was truly serious about this entire tournament, wasn’t he...?

    Something admirable, he dares not admit.

    It was true that there weren’t exactly Off-the-Charts powers flowing from the Alien, but Gotenks needed teammates in order to enter the tournament in Earnest, and could easily bring recruits up to speed with him. Not to mention, even though this grown-up had no Apparent confidence, the little boy was sure it was merely a Ruse, since you had to be practically brimming with ambition to join this Timespace Tournament.

  ❛ If you don’t have a team, than you’re already perfect material for Mine! Skills are learned, not just handed out, so you have to keep trying to get good– you can’t sit around waiting for your talent to Magically Appear or something! ❜

    Hypocritical as it was for Gotenks in particular to express such an idea, he felt it needed to be said in order to hype of this guy’s confidence enough to either join up with him, or Fight him.

    ... Sheesh. There was no backing out with this kid, was there? Ah-- well, perhaps there was no harm in it. After all, Creme needed to be seeking a team anyways if he in the least wanted to get this over with. It wasn’t his fault he was here! It was his damned brother who forced him in, just to immediately ditch him after someone else’s team needed a fifth member! To say that Creme was excited to be here couldn’t be further from the truth.

    ❛ Uh, I guess... You could put it that way. I think I might be more of a healer than a warrior though, I wouldn’t be sure of how much that would actually matter to you, though, ❜ a sigh, Creme feeling the sweat building on his brow. There truly was no escaping this, and the serpent would just have to learn to accept this.

    ❛ W... Wait, you’re talking to me? ❜

    Slowly, he turns his head back to Gotenks, as if he had looking behind himself as if to confirm that this small, strange boy hadn’t been talking to anyone else. Oh, no. There was nobody else around, this kid was totally talking to him, wasn’t he? Ah, well, this was unexpected. Little had Creme actually anticipated that someone would choose him for their team.

“Yeah! Totally!” She giggles. “I’m getting it for my boyfriend.” Well, he just coudn’t admit they were a thing yet. He was still being a child about things and cared only about fighting. The idiot! But if she brought him this expensive boxset–then he’d totally fall in love with her!

“I’m glad even aliens know Mr. Satan’s the coolest. He’s the strongest in the universe, y’know.” She leans back and forth on her heels

    Oh, thank goodness. She agreed! And didn’t notice his confusion. That... That was a good sign, right? Perhaps this conversation was going more naturally than he anticipated ( why was he here again? Creme couldn’t seem to recall... ). He swallows his breath, mustering a smile. Still, the alien hadn’t a clue of who Mr. Satan actually was, but with such a formidable name, it must be someone very powerful--! He hopes.

“Hey you!” A cheery, red headed girl jumped up and down excitedly. “Are you here for the new Mr. Satan blu-ray?” It was an exclusive boxset, sold only at this convenience store from the far future. Sometimes space-time rifts were awesome! 

   ❛ Mr. Satan… Blu-ray? ❜ neither of those words rang familiar to him, and he found himself uncertain of whether it was due to it being lost in translation, or more simply, just a difference in culture. Slowly, he blinks, trying to think of an answer that didn’t seem… Rude. Think. Thinkthinkthink!
