Chi-Chi was definitely not one of those princesses that let everyone else do the work for her. She did whatever she could to assist her father and their returning subjects in rebuilding Fire Mountain, their castle, and their kingdom.

She would help with construction herself since she was abnormally strong for her size and age. She often assisted in lifting heavier metals. She would also go out and seek construction companies and architects and other suppliers for materials and resources to help with reconstruction–all on her own of course.

Resting her chin upon a raised hand, she wanders into thought. Admittedly not a matter that’s often crossed her mind, she can at least understand the way his gears turned to reach that inquiry. Normally, who wouldn’t want the glory of that fantastical feat, or to keep up the legacy afterwards? But, this group is vastly different from the average type.

His ears sweep downward for a moment, the look he casts the boy's way a rather.. confused one.

"I.. mean no disrespect, but.. have you ever even been to another universe..? I can assure you far stranger things happen in some of them -- I say that from personal experiences visiting, but... I suppose that’s subjective, isn’t it--After all, they’d find the things that’ve happened here terribly bizarre as well, wouldn’t they?”

Seemingly lost in thought, he’s back just a moment later, and his ears perk back up to normal all of a sudden.

“Oh, but cats do chase togs on occasion! Many mortals actually complain about their cats bullying their dogs, and that’s just domesticated ones. Lions, for example, would hunt down and tear apart dogs in seconds. Not all cats wish to buy into the fear of canidae!

❛ Because if it doesn’t rhyme, like, what’s the point, you know? ❜

He’d like to say that there’s plenty more to do instead of wasting time on rhymes (or question if the inquiry was about the taunt itself), but he refuses to say something like that in-front of a child (as opposed to one of his fellow gods), so he finds himself... relatively speechless for once.
