About 2 weeks ago, I went to Toyota here in Hollywood to get an oil change. About a week later I got a letter in the mail saying that they wanted to buy my truck, or at the very least were interested in it. I gave them a call over the weekend so schedule an estimate on Monday (today). After work, I cruised over to the dealership and found out that they were only willing to only give me $6,000 for my adventure vehicle! Can you believe that? But honestly, that's probably how much it's worth at this point. I just love my truck a lot, but I'm just having a hard time justifying the cost of gas, given my commute is about 50 miles, round trip. I'm really stoked on the Fiat 500e's right now, given the deals on them through leases, but with a range of about 80ish miles and no where to plug into at the apartment, I don't think I can make that work either. I might just pick up a little scooter again, or maybe a small motorcycle to commute on a daily. That's probably the best option - I don't think I really want to get rid of my truck, I also want to get something that is fuel efficient and reliable. Who knows what I'll end up doing, but it's going to come quick as I have to renew my registration next month. Till next blog, Serg 🗺️
