I’m breaking my own reblog laws but this got a genuine reaction out of me, and it’s late enough for me to warrant reblogging it.

I always got very afraid when it was the same letter 4 times in a row

when I was 4 or 5, my mom was a prof at a college and she used to hand me the scantron sheet before she wrote the exam and let me colour whatever lettered bubble i wanted for each answer. if i coloured two by accident, she made an ‘all of the above’ option. one time she gave me it and i coloured the ‘a’ bubble for each of the 130 questions except for the second last one and she just went with it later on, she told me that it was the most entertaining exam she had ever watched her students take

I know farmers that do this, I used to live in an area where fruit trees grew, on the road we lived, the trees on the edge by the road were always left for the neighbors and travelers to pick, and when my mom taught me how to make jam, we went to buy peaches from the neighbors stand, when he found out why, he refused to sell, but invited us to pick the freshly fallen fruit from his orchard, to take as much as we wanted by the bucket load so it was not wasted and make a mess he had to clean up, as he couldn’t sell the ground fallen fruit for health inspector reasons. We made loads and shared it with our neighbors.

Without capitalism, humans are naturally inclined to share with and care for others. There’s more than enough to go around as long as people aren’t greedy.

video game engines are amazing because they can make it so sunlight filters through leaves casting dozens of little rays in your eyes just like in real life and then you turn around and there’s a whole ass horse just swimming in circles in midair
