OC-TOBER || A Sweet Treat

O'Darius enjoying a croissant (or 35). First time I drew her as a little kiddo. I imagine she had very curly hair as a child, and then deliberately kept it straight as she became an adult. She didn't want to be reminded of her mother when she looked in the mirror.

Garnet and Steven Carving Pumpkins 🎃

My entry from last week's weekly art challenge <3 Prompt was "Pumpkin Batch"! I decided to go for wholesome with Garnet and little Steven carving pumpkins together. Or well... Steven carving pumpkins and Garnet somehow magically finishing hers in 2 seconds without any splatter. Steven is no less impressed

OC-TOBER || Foliage and Flowers

Starring Kiara Bluebell, technically a D&D OC but not a character I've ever played. She is the sister of Kinaru Bluebell, and is a highly regarded knight. Kiara loves her siblings, but has a lot of animosity against their house. She has little affection for their father, who she learned the true colours of early on in life.

I got a wisdom tooth removed, so wasn't sure I'd be able to finish this piece today lmao. But I did!! Initially Kiara just had the flower crown but it felt v empty with out anything else. Also the theme was foliage AND flowers, and I lacked a lot of the former heh... Still don't feel I leaned in enough to the theme, but happy with this piece still <3

OC-TOBER || Best friend

AHHHH, I finally got to draw the boys again q-q <33 I decided to randomize both prompt and character cause I simply will not have time to do all 31 of them </3 (as painful as that is to admit lol) The wheel picked Florence, my best friend @pudeltjejen OC, and the prompt was Best friend (coincidence??). Which turned into a v hilarious Florence lore drop 💀

Anyway Florence (right) and Kinaru (left, my OC) are childhood friends, both coming from a noble upbringing. But where Kinaru is flamboyant and extroverted, Florence is more soft and reserved. That can sometimes clash, especially when Kinaru is particularly excited about something. But these differences also make them get along well. Kinaru's upbeat self and Florence's more introspective personality complement each other; making them share a strong friendship.

We already had established they're close friends, but defo an honour that my little guy is considered Florence's bestie hihi <33

The most hilarious thing is that my friend named her Durge after my old name by pure accident 😭 the addition of ”the Second” makes it even better LMFAOOO

This one was outright cruel. I have a wheel spin to pick the OC for each prompt and ofc it picked my most traumatized little guy 💔

Think in total I have 2 drawings of him smiling and this is not doing the numbers any good 😭

But hoh boy this one was a challenge. I never draw creatures and didn’t really have a specific direction for the design. A humbling but fun challenge

She’s also the hardest one for me to draw, mainly cause of her montrals and I change her design every time LMAO But I love her sm 🥹

The Vulkor Squad (AU)

Me and my buds had ”What if…?” as our art challenge from last week and I decided to do an AU/What if…? w my clone boys 🥹 The ”What if…?” is if my clone boys’ squad had actually been successful.

Left to right: Hound (Scarhound in canon), Curly, Palo, Braid, and Hux.

Their squad is an experimental unit that had been kept classified from the public. In canon, their squad disbands after their first mission that resulted in a tragedy at the hands of their mentor/father-figure Palo Kayel. But in this scenario, that never happens.

Not to say that was necessarily the ”good” outcome. Their squad has proven their legitimacy in the GAR, but at the cost of their well being and familial bonds under the harsh leadership of Palo.

It was super fun to design all of their armours! Not sure if that’s the final look, but defo in the right direction hehe
