The problem that has plagued him throughout his molestation trial.  MJ was  accompanied by a bodyguard, arrived at the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital about five miles from his Neverland ranch. 

The reports said that his back pain was bad enough for him to get to the emergency room. He was also required to stay overnight to treat his back pain. The pain probably induced by the amount of stress throughout the child molestation case.

MJ case was twice previously interrupted by hospital visits, once for treatment of flu symptoms. He first reported a back problem in early March, when he went to an emergency room on one of the days his accuser took the stand. When he  arrived late, dressed in pajama bottoms( which the media made extreme sensationalize) , after the judge ordered him to come to court.
