im honestly fond of george russell in his own unique way but it’s objectively hilarious that he’s been the heir apparent at mercedes for years, had to serve his time at williams in their peak dogshit era, had his one off merc debut bottled by an astonishingly bad team error, got his full time mercedes seat right when they were struggling with the ground effect era regs, had to wait for lewis to move on so he could finally be first driver, and RIGHT as they’ve at long last built another dominant car he starts getting mogged by an italian teenager who does THIS 🙂🤙 in his opening titles pose
