내꺼하자

Are you going through a situation that seems beyond your control? I want to encourage you today that even when we can’t see it, God is working behind the scenes. He is doing a new thing. He is making a way for you even when there seems to be no way. He wants to lead you out of that dry, desolate place into a place of peace, safety and abundance. He wants to take you from a season of drought into a season of abundance.

“He’s fighting a hard battle. He’s going through a lot” those were the words that I heard in my heart as I watched this man serve our food. But his battle here on earth ended recently. A friend of mine told me last night that he got hit by a car and he’s dead.

back story: My friends and I always go to this restaurant every week and most of the time this guy would always be our server. And everytime I see him God would just keep “highlighting” him to me. 2 weeks ago i tried to start a conversation with him but he immediately shut me down. So then i said to myself “I’ll try next week.” But there’s no more Nextweek.

This might not be something you wanted to read this morning but its true and it’s real. It’s all around us. Stories like this just don’t make the headlines, they’re in our neighborhood. Stories like this really remind me that every single person on earth matters. They are precious to God because they are his. One of my fave quote “be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle”

I woke up this morning and reminded that the gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to change someone’s life. He is the hope for every human heart. This was a hard lesson and I’m learning to daily walk in obedience that whenever he leads me talk to someone about him, I must respond. Coz we are not promised with tomorrow. We only have today.
