[text] Fake!
[text] Kim Himchan, are you high?
Overrated Breathing | Hyoyoung & Chiaki
[text: homura akemi ] Are you joking? He’s fine like this, as long as he becomes aware of other things and doesn’t ask me too many questions.
[text: homura akemi ] Is it weird I get turned on when you call me names? wink wink. Okay, don’t get all huffy on me. I’ll see you later dude.
[text: kyoko sakura] I'm not "dude".
Chiaki said aloud before pressing send on her phone with a roll of her eyes. She really didn't know, how she was supposed to stand this girl. Plus with her obvious physical advances scared her a little bit. Seeing that she didn't exactly mind it, Chiaki wasn't going to be charmed by some snot nosed thieving brat. Though at this point in their relationship, she had seen a few of Hyoyoung's many sides. Not sure which one to buy into, sometimes she seemed like an misunderstood girl and others she seemed like the world could burn and not even care. Hyoyoung was quite the mystery, and the young woman felt bad that Hoon would have to put up with it. Making her wonder, how much did Hoon even know about Hyoyoung? Like actual concrete things about her?
The young woman knew from the its of her story that Hyoyoung has managed to spill, something bad happened to her. It was just a matter of what exactly, even if she asked, she felt only lies were slither their way through Hyo's lips. Cause Hyoyoung, oh she was a liar and that was the one trait that drove Chiaki up the wall. She decided to get started to prepare something more so like a snack for them to have together when they met up. Regardless of Hyo's negative attributes, Chiaki did agree to be her friend. Plus, at times she did find herself enjoying the young girl's company.
Psychology as A Date || Chiaki and Kyuhyun ||
He knew that his best friend was always a fucking weirdo who balanced multiple girls at the same time and he knew what sort of connotations that held for him. As Gogo stuttered out a shocked response, Kyuhyun leaned back. “Yes. Dinner. I want to take you out,” he said. He wasn’t backing down, besides he was extremely persuasive and very stubborn on his own things. He never took no for an answer.
As she stated that since he missed class, she could help him out and explain the topic in detail over dinner, Kyuhyun focused his eyes on her, taking in the casual way that she was twirling her hair. Gogo Yubari was cute when you got past the slight creepiness that she exuded. As she said that if he was doing this to be nice, he shouldn’t even bother, Kyuhyun looked shocked. He wanted to take her out on a date. She was cute, pretty, and she exuded a sort of charisma. He liked that about a girl. “I’m taking you out on a date, Gogo, because I want to. I think you’re actually pretty awesome,” he said, smiling at her.
"I’ll pick you up tonight. Wear something nice," he said, as the teacher announced the end of class and Kyuhyun gathered up his things and headed out, sending a wink towards her.
The amount of confusion on the young girl's face was so evident it hurt her almost. What? That was the only thing, she could say and by the time it left her lips he was already gone. Now she had to think-- date. How do you even go out on a date? No more importantly, why would he want to take her out? There were so many girls, so many other girls that would kill probably to be her and here she was panicking. It wasn't like he invited her to commit suicide or trip acid. But her stammering that seemed a little too late well, she only could sigh. Picking up her books quickly, packing them away and sighing louder. "I'm really.. in a pinch here." The young girl muttered in Japanese before letting her new flats lightly tap at the polished floors of the school. She probably looked like there was a dark cloud over her head, like at any moment she could drop dead. It wouldn't be out of dread per se, it'd be out of nervousness. How would she even dress for this? Looking down at her usual wardrobe of flats and flowery pastel dresses.
She looked like she had just gotten down teaching a sunday school class, and the young woman doubted that this was dinner date attire. Minah did buy her a little black dress-- but god she wouldn't dare try it on. It was so.. revealing? Nothing a modest girl like Chiaki would put on willingly. During the summer bonfire, Minah had taken her cover up clothes and was left to fend for herself clad in the pink swimsuit another friend had bought for her. God only could help her in this great debate of what to wear. She found herself now staring at her closet, and looking back down to her dog. "I'm going on a date can you believe it?" Chiaki asked only to get a head tilt and wag of a tail. "I guess that means you have no advice and probably don't believe me." Sighing for maybe the tenth thousandth time today, falling back on her bed. Her mind thinking back to that dress, and bit down on her bottom lip. "I.. really am scared." She admitted to herself aloud, "..If this is some joke.. I will kill him." The girl promised, no way was she going through emotional distress only to have this be some prank on her.

▪▪▪ { ❛ you don't need a cape to be a hero —
the best thing about this camp — if you could even really call it that — was that despite it’s rustic look, it wasn’t truly a camp. they were in cabins that were, essentially, mini-houses, their cafeteria could be considered a restaurant on it’s own — hell, the place even had a full blown spa and even non-traditional recreational activities like a bowling alley. but even with all that, the thing that nana was thankful for the most would have to be indoor plumbing. the fact that she could use the bathroom on a toilet and not some shabby-made outhouse, and the fact that there was an actual shower to use instead of lake was something that she definitely didn’t take for granted.
such was the case as she walked out of the shower, dressed rather comfortably with a fuzzy towel currently rubbing against damp hair in order to dry it faster. as she approached her bed, getting ready to blow dry her hair and do other routine fresh-out-of-the-shower things, nana sees something small and dark scurry past — but as she whips her head in that direction nothing seems to be there, and the girl shrugs it off as her mind playing tricks on her again — especially since she’s the only one at her cabin at the moment.
some minutes later when brunette tresses are now dried and straight and her fresh face has the necessary make up on, nana knows that it’s not her mind playing tricks on her again when she hears a crunching and rumbling sound coming from the kitchen area. maybe one of her roommates snuck back in while she was focused on grooming activities? regardless, the girl makes her way past the corner to find out the source of the noise, misting her face with setting serum all the while. “i didn’t know that you were here—”
instead of one of her cabinmates rummaging through the cabinets, she finds ( what she thinks is ) a large possum preoccupied with the contents of their trash. and as it turns it’s beady little eyes in nana’s direction, an almost bloodcurdling screams builds up from her chest, past her throat, and out of her mouth as she finds herself jumping on the table in fear — a large wooden spoon as her only weapon against the horrid beast. the worst thing about camping was the creatures lurking in the shadows, the ones that nana was completely terrified of and considerably vulnerable to.
Chiaki had spent most of her time outdoors, and thanked god she remembered sunscreen. Her skin, would probably be baking without it and she remembered how earlier she teased Hamin for being such a baby for panicking about burning up. The girl tugged at her shorts, feeling as if people were now watching her every move. Her legs were long, and she felt as if she were reavealing everything to the world. But it was just so hot, Chiaki couldn't be caught dead in pants once again. Luckily, Chiaki was enjoying her time out her though it wasn't exactly traditional camping. Felt more like the rich kids summer camp in her opinion, the scenery was beautiful. Everyone was comfortable and seemed to be having fun, so she was thankful for that at least. All she wanted was to be sure no one was having a shitty time. She counted on it being herself, but the girl was doing whatever and that made her happy. For example practicing her archery, and taking jogs to the lake and back. To her those things were fun, and praying that Bingo didn't eat the Bonzai tree Ikuma had given to her as a present. But she was sure Minah could take care of Bingo and her plants.
As she continued silently praying for her loved ones, Chiaki's heart almost stopped when she heard a scream of terror. Her hands squeezed around the bat, seeing that she had promised to play a game of baseball with a few of the campers there. Eyes narrowing as she mentally prepared herself for whatever evil was afoot. Turning herself to properly face the cabin, Chiaki immediately ran to it opening the door. "H-Hello? Do you need help?" She called out now in the living area of the cabin, looking more around she saw the opening to the kitchen to see-- Nana? What was Miss Nana doing on the table like that? "M-Miss Nana! Are you okay? Did someone try to hurt you?" The young woman inquired as she started to walk closer to the kitchen's entrance, still cautious of what or who could be in the house as she spoke. Though her heart was racing at the thought of actually getting a real chance to talk to the Im Jinah. More so known as Nana, but still her face was slightly flushed seeing that even in camping mode. Miss Nana was still so pretty, and here was Chiaki's chance to help her? Oh she wasn't going to let this go to waste, first real impressions were important.
One Woman Army | Chiaki & Tomomi
Crinkling her nose, she made a face at the older girl. Yes, she was out of touch, but Chiaki didn’t need to be so blunt about it. Tucking her hair behind her ears, she rubbed the nape of her neck and sighed. “You see, I haven’t been able to get much practice lately. The softball tournament is coming soon.” It was a lame excuse, she got to admit, but she had nothing else to offer.
Just as Chiaki had said, kendo should be in her blood -she was Japanese after all. People get used to things through observation and imitation -she did a lot of that back in Japan. She would watch kendo matched and tried to copy moves along with her school friends when school rolls around. She grinned. “Nevermind, that was a lame excuse.” Wiping her sweat away, she looked up at the older girl and smiled. It was a rare occasion for her to ask of others’ assistance. Keeping her troubles to herself had always been a key-point in her life, but some rule change won’t hurt. Maybe she could ask her friend to coach her. A playful smirk played on her lips and everyone close to her knows it’s a bad omen. “Nee-chan, why don’t you coach me this time round?”
If there was one thing that refrained her from skipping kumdo practice, it would be Chiaki. Since the first time thy’ve met, she’s left an impression deep enough that Tomomi had somehow grown attached to her. She respects and adores Chiaki -may that be for how chill she is or just how naturally gifted she is. If ever inquired on why though, Tomomi would most definitely say 'her elegance'. The first time they met was on the very room. Even if they had met before, none of them could recall the meeting, so they dismissed it all. Chiaki was practicing kumdo along with some other team members. They all looked very professional and striking.
At first, she had intended to join the club to satisfy her dad’s nags, but after seeing the spar, she was in trance. Without giving it a second thought, she signed up immediately and started attending practice. Only after a few weeks did she find out that one of their strongest athletes were in fact a girl. It surprised her, how one girl could be so strong yet elegant and swift while fighting. That was perhaps the day she started adoring the older girl. For how she presented herself among others -always looking cool and composed.
They got closer as time passed by, with Tomomi occasionally getting scolded for making silly mistakes. Even after seeing the girl’s harsher side, she kept on looking up to her. Her eyes once again met with Chiaki’s as she spoke. “What do you say?”
Flustered at the Nee-chan title, Chiaki could only well smile, "Hmm.. well you do have more potential than Sungjun. So I suppose I can help you out." She teased the girl with a nudge, being sure not to use too much force cause she remembered once she had wanted to be playful and ended up knocking a friend on her back. Though Chiaki was good at teaching, the girl always felt her teachings lacked something. Plus she knew that she could off of well harsh was an understatement. A lot the time, she felt people didn't even bother to join Kumdo simply because they heard she was a bitch. Then again, Tomomi seemed to be a more willing student, and was one of the few girls herself that had joined the team. So maybe Chiaki could teach the girl, she could stand her company long enough to talk to her. "I do feel I'll go easier on you. Probably because you're really cute." She said a more sisterly tone taking on her voice. Chiaki reached over with a smile to pinch a the younger girl's cheek.
Taking back to why people didn't join Kumdo, you'd be surprised how many men had an issue with Chiaki being their superior. More of them believed she became co captain by other means. Flirting her way to the position, some even thought it was handed to her simply because they didn't want to be called sexist. Chiaki was one of the strongest athletes at Seongnam. Tomomi had the potential to become great, if she well applied herself to the fullest of her ability. "My answer is yes, officially. But first I'd really like to get out of these clothes." She said rolling her arm a few times back to get some of the kinks out with a smile. "I'm getting old, who knows next year I might be in a wheel chair. Don't work too hard, or you'll be me." She said teasing herself now as she pushed open the door to the locker room. Desolate seeing how their were maybe 5 girls on the team? None of them could hide from Chiaki's big sister like approach to complimenting everyone. "You guys look so cute today." The young woman gushed, and a few of the girls let out embarrassed sighs or began to hurry their changing process. Not wanting to hear Chiaki's stream of compliments.
Busy? || KMJ + CK
"Yeah..I’ve kind of been all over the place doing things for the department and a few of my own projects of my own." Minjun managed to explain slightly as he shrugged. Though to be honest he was glad that he was finally at a point where he could take a small break before preparing for what could be a very long summer. "Well…it’s greatly appreciated. I won’t have to buy Kimchi for a long while to come." he said with a small smile as he looked down at the jar in his hands. His head tilted slightly as his eyes shifted to the ground for a moment and he chuckled softly. "Gotcha." he said with an understanding nod, his smile remaining small and sweet.
"Oh…well sort of. I was actually just going to go and grab some coffee in the cafeteria. Would you like to join me?" he asks, "I”ll even throw in a free cup of coffee."
"It's really no problem, as long I can do something for you." Chiaki had said with a small smile on her lips. A lot of the time, she felt that she owed him something. He always so nice to her, the geunine uncoditonal kind. She was sure that everyone knew how wonderful he was. Chiaki herself knew that maybe someone like her could never be as close as she'd like. Even this right now was good enough, hell she wasn't even into drinking coffee but for some reason it sounded nice to be offered some. Like this cup of coffee would be more important than sip of water she'll ever drink in her life. Swallowing hard, she nodded an inaudible answer to his question. Feeling that if she said yes, the tone in her voice would be even more eager than she wanted to sound. Because well she was excited, even if she couldn't properly express herself.
She did hope that someday, she could tell him that he was very important to her. That he was a very good person, who deserved to be happy. Though she knew it'd more than likely would never be her to make him happy. Simply because it wasn't her destiny, and fate was never kind to those like her. "Are you um gonna do anything for the summer, Minjun?" She then asked, more blurted out not knowing why his plans should matter. Not like she was going to be in on them anyway.

Calm Summer | Yongguk & Chiaki
"well you won’t continue to go unnoticed, now that you mentioned it.. so isn’t it a good thing that you brought it up?" he asked with a grin "besides I like the fact that you were able to just say it so.. cooly" he added while chuckling lightly. He never expected her to do anything like that for anyone, Chiaki just didn’t seem like that type of girl. His cheeks became a light shade of pink after being complimented "you think so? well.. uh,"he paused not knowing what to say, you would expect him to be cocky about everything, even his looks but he wasn’t, small compliments like those really made him feel some type of shy. "this is my first time seeing you up close, and in all honesty though.. You look way cooler from a far and just kinda.. cute.. from up close. " Guk rubbed his neck as he continued to walk with her "it’s like you;re an intimidating strong woman from a far and an innocent harmless one up close" he shrugged not knowing if he made sense or not but to him it sounded just right. No one would dare approach a female so skilled in Kumdo and archery.. it would be like setting yourself up, but when seeing her from a close distance she really just looked like a harmless and fragile female, even if that wasn’t the case.
Guk nodded as he continued to listen carefully, she liked doing solo sports, those in which all that is needed is oneself, really giving him the vibe of independence “after knowing the sports you part take in it really isn’t hard to figure out that you are indeed strong, and independent..” he said quietly through his own observation “you rely on no one but yourself” he added quickly after.
"you’re right, however I haven’t heard a single bad thing about you. but I’ll have to ask Jun" he looked over at her smiling. Curious as what their relation was.. and why he never mentioned her. "you just started archery?" he asked back anyone who saw her in action would’ve thought she’d been doing it for years.. she really was that good, "hell are you adept, no kidding" he was more amused than anything. "yeah.. I, I figured that.. there’s nothing wrong in it either, though. Some people are just more difficult to interact with"
"uhm" he said in his usual low timbre, followed with a short chuckle. He truly didn’t expect her to have heard much about him especially if it wasn’t sports related. The shocking part was that she’d heard more from girls than she did from guys. His eyes widened, he wasn’t sure what to respond, she really had him up against the wall clueless. however he still would take a guess "it could be good things, could be bad.. there’s no controlling or predicting what others say and think about you.. but" he paused, for some weird reason feeling slightly nervous "more good than bad?" he questioned quietly, furrowing his brows as he turned to face her. "what was it?"
She only smiled, "I'm really not that cool, actually surprised I haven't passed out. I definitely think you look cool, Yongguk." Chiaki insisted with a small chuckle, then she quickly wanted to fall to the floor. Her face heated up, and the young woman swallowed hard. Feeling her legs become heavy and her throat squeezing up at his compliments. Not really knowing to say when people referred to her as cute, seing that she was 24 years old. The young woman felt her time to be adorable was long gone. But seeing that her words actually had an affect on him, almost made the moment seem even. "You're too kind to me.. really." She said a small sigh leaving her lips, "But thank you..though my days of being cute are over. Though I am strong enough to take you on, Yongguk." She said with a cute wrinkle of her nose. Though it was a joke, some men well it wasn't their favorite trait. Because her strength in her opinion might be a turn off, most men wanted to feel like they were able to protect their woman. But turns out, Chiaki could carry the whole team if need be, and probably make sure majority of everyone makes it out alright. It was just in her nature to be strong, she had promised herself she would be.
Her expression becoming more modest, as he complimented her once more in her skill in archery, then mentioning Yong Junhyung once more a small smirk appeared on her lips. "Yong Junhyung is.. well, I'm actually kind of nervous of what he might say now. Tell him to be kind." She couldn't help but laugh at what he might say about her. Chiaki was a real asshole at times when it came to Kumdo, and he always tried flirting his way out of trouble with her. "I always do my best, I never try." She commented and then bit her lip thinking of how she should answer his next question.
Seeing how uneasy he was, made her laugh a bit but she tried to keep her serious nature in her face. "Well.. Bang Yongguk.." Chiaki started slowly, her eyes locking into his gaze and her expression serious, "..you're right. Most girls say great things about you, like how cool you are. How handsome you are. Hearing your name so often, in the locker room. Followed by squeals and jumping around, even I felt excited." She said with a much more pleasant smile, "As for the guys, well most of them are your friends. So all in all, you're quite popular." The good thing about so quiet is that you hear people talk and you hear quite a bit of everything. Most people wouldn't peg Chiaki for eavesdropping, but she couldn't help it. It wasn't a lady like trait, but people should be more quiet. "More good than bad like you guessed," Chiaki said, before looking around. "So.. may I ask what brought you on this trip?" Her voice still retaining that shy sounding tone.

Bo Peep | Chiaki & Joon
Physics class, indeed. He recognized her as well. He also remembered how girls either avoided her or tried to be her friend. For some reason, now that he saw her like this, Joon understood the general attitude. But in spite of murder glowing in her eyes, he had to talk to her. After all, a broken person always sniffs out another of his kind. A short laughter escaped his lungs and he shook his head, impressed by her attitude towards him. ”I’m glad I’m not dead then. I have a lot of more things to do, places to see.” People to meet? Perhaps. This was not on the top of his list since he was not exactly the definition of a social person. Look up social in a dictionary and one would certainly not find Joon’s picture there.
On the other side, it was true that many girls liked Joon. He did not know what the male population of the Seongnam University thought of him (nor did it matter much) but the girl…Oh a lot of them wanted a piece of him. Too bad they aren’t getting any. He almost chuckled. Silly girls and their silly salacious thoughts and desires. They were also so clueless about what being with him would turn out to be…So clueless that it was almost cute. Perhaps he could take an advantage of one or two of them. Or even more, all depending on his mood.
Chiaki was different though. She never made any advances towards him and they barely talked in class. He could not recall more times than he could count on the fingers of his one hand that they exchanged some words. This made her all the more interesting and now seeing that she really was different than the rest of the girls, Joon knew that striking a…Friendship? No, probably not. He never bothered making real friends. But some sort of a relationship with her would be nice. Just like with Daehyun. The two males were compatible so maybe it would turn out Chiaki and he were compatible as well? Who knows?
”Ah, Kumdo.” He nodded. ”I considered taking the class but I don’t have any prior experience in it so I didn’t want to bother the team. So I joined the sports I’m best at.” He explained, pretty randomly, before he smiled a little, raising an eyebrow. It was more of an amused rather than friendly smile. ”Do I really look like someone who cares about someone’s status here?” He scratched the back of his head. ”Wait, maybe I do.” An emotionless chuckle. ”But of course I don’t mind sitting with you. I’m not sure myself, though. You seem like quite an interesting person for me and I guess this is just one of those days when I randomly meet people. It doesn’t happen often so maybe you should appreciate it.”
”Also-” he said while taking a seat on the nearby bench ”other girls have not turned out to be a satisfying company…Intellectually. I suppose most of them are just good for certain things, if you get what I’m trying to say.” Shrugging lightly, he felt for his cigarette pack and took out one before offering them to the girl ”Want one?” Obviously, he did not care what others would think of him smoking outside. This was technically the only, or one of the few, vices he had and he had no intentions of quitting.
Chiaki just glanced over at him, "Hm. Kumdo requires discipline, and style. It's really not for everyone, but I more than adept at it. But who knows, maybe you'll come around." She said casually, it was no secret among the Kumdo team that Chiaki may be a samurai or something. Because her talent was almost unmatched, Hwang Chansung was the only one to beat her. But sometimes Chiaki felt she let him win every time. He was pretty cute when he won a spar, and plus if someone like her beat someone like him his pride might be shattered. That is not the style of the Kuriyama women, protecting a man's pride was something important. As for what he said next she rolled her eyes, "..Interesting, I don't invite people to sit next to me, nor do I bother to talk to most of anyone. So it's more you that should appreciate my company. I guess we're both a bit odd tonight." She combated with him, maybe he didn't realize that she didn't care who he was. There was no reason for him to have an ego, she could've lived her whole life without meeting him. In her opinion she wasn't missing much.
As he offered her a cigarette to her, her annoyance became more evident, "I don't smoke. I know someone who does. Thank you." So she took it anyway putting it in her dress pocket, "I get what you're trying to say. Honestly, I don't know whether to comment or to ignore you." At least she wasn't going to beat around the bush with him, "I think I'm going to ignore, it's best if I do that." Clearing her throat, "My conversation is quite stimulating from what I hear. But I guess that's something up for you to decide." She wasn't exactly interested in keeping up a conversation with this guy. What was his appeal? Chiaki couldn't exactly see it, "Besides shouldn't you be at home? It's getting dark, you wouldn't want to be out. It's dangerous these days." She said in an almost teasing tone, most people would ask her what she was doing out seeing she was a young lady.
Kill La Kill | Hyoyoung & Gogo
(/ snickering a bit) You like me right? Just a little? (/ ignoring the harsh words with a small smile ) If you wring your hands around my neck, I’ll bruise. I want to choose how I die. I have rights! (/ she says with a laugh slowly dropping into the middle splits onto Chiaki’s hips ) I choose you, when I’m ready to go, I really want you to kill me. So do it, and in return we can be friends. It only makes sense if someone like you and I are friends you know? (/ she said leaning in closer to Chiaki’s face ) Let’s help each other hm?
(/she blushed turning away) ..This isn't appropriate for our sort of relationship. (/feeling the girl's hips resting on hers, indecent and more she felt wrong for this sort of thing.) Fine, whatever you want. I'll be your friend, I just.. feel weird. Don't get so close to me either.. (/she said finally gathering the nerve to push Hyoyoung off of her. Sitting up blushing madly) I just.. hurry up and go already.

[text: kyoko sakura] ..It was rather sweet that you're looking out for me. Thank you.
