Shane and Ilya are obviously hunkering down at the cottage together. There's no hockey, but they don't know for how long, so they're still training all the time. They're doing interviews and having to make it look like they're in completely different places. Ilya has to keep being reminded that he's supposed to still be back in Ottawa.

Ilya's teammates keep asking if they can be in a lockdown bubble together and he's gotta be like "No, can't do that. I'm not taking any chances." But now they're worried because he hasn't seen or been around another human being in months and they've noticed that even before lockdown he made more jokes about killing himself than the average person, so they're stressed to their eyeballs about his mental health.

Meanwhile Ilya's living the kind of domestic fantasy with his man that he didn't think they were going to get until retirement. For the first time ever most days he can truly pretend that he and Shane are the only people in the world. Sometimes David and Yuna come over for dinner because they are also isolating at their cottage. But most of the time it's just endless hours of just the two of them and neither of them could be happier. Their biggest decision every day is when and where to fuck. Some people are getting into sourdough – Shane and Ilya have committed to learning one new sexual position every day.

These Rangers were mostly providing sneak attacks. The other teams? Just got overwhelmed via numbers, but regrouped in prison and switched up tactics; all this team has to do was hit a single point, coordinating via Billy.

The US military (our world) works by being a logistics operations expert. The Power Rangers here would have trained with them (their world's version) enough through Lightspeed to adopt this into the cell structure (military term: a military that fights by individual units going solo a lot), so they have essentially everyone using the same *goals and strategies*, but different twists on it, while the UN militaries (their world) would do the heavy lifting.

The camera showed the exciting bits, but wars are won in very boring ways. Like logistics. And training. And prep.

Power Rangers is actually the kid version of Xena: Warrior Princess until Ninja Storm. It's very fucking gay. The techniques to show it are called queercoding, and Tommy's fashion is acceptable in public, but originated in raves and gay culture. They are So Fucking Gay. There's also BDSM subtext, and it's quite delightful.

Here are some Power Rangers I, and many others, headcanon as Autistic or ADHD! 😁

The Morphing Grid chooses Rangers, and will sometimes heavily favor a villain like Astronema. Why? Because *every single one the Morphing Grid likes*, heroic or villainous, has hypermorality.

Bear in mind I do mean hypermorality as contextual defense of THEIR UNDERSTANDING of morals. Ecliptor, Zedd, Rita, and Void Knight were all acting based on their cultural understanding of morality. All of them had clear codes of honor, and all of them were very careful to avoid civilian harm. All were either given Ranger-like arcs or had direct power within the Morphing Grid itself. Astronema was acting on a belief Rangers were corrupt and dangerous, and she actually was able to use a morpher temporarily, twice; Elsa, in Dino Thunder, was able to enchant a Dino Gem and displayed honesty, integrity, and often courage under her snark; and honor codes are actually an easy way to tell who gets to survive the last battle.

In addition, EVERY Ranger has hypermorality, just attuned to modern American values.

I did see you thought Karone and Andros are autistic, and I agree based on their social presence (Andros has flat affect and is both literal and socially misses cues other aliens don't; Karone can mimic social situations, but in Lost Galaxy rarely presents as just "herself"), and I want to add that Billy being autistic used to be fanon. That's why the 2017 movie went with autistic Billy.

I wasn't able to see much of the rest of the video, but I also want to add that the 2017 movie really stands apart from your typical "autistic character" media for me. Most times, the autism is for an allistic audience. I swear, after watching the first episode of The Good Doctor, I could hear the Sesame Street song playing--these movies are basically social stories for allists, to teach them about us.

Neither Karone nor Tenaya will ever forget what they did when they were villains. But that’s something that no other people connected to the Power Rangers can ever understand. It was fate, really, that Karone met Tenaya through a portal because now they have each other.

Ehm sooo Power Rangers zords that are also conscious in a way. I mean like I wish we got more scenes with the rangers and their respective zords telepathically communicating with eachother or just them straight up talking to their zords in person

Like Tyler from Dino Charge telling mama T-Red because yes I fully believe his zord is a she about how he longs to see his dad because he just feels it in his heart that he is alive and mama T-Rex communicating the best she can in trying to tell him that his father is alive she however can't speak so she just sends feelings of understanding and acceptance his way.

Jayden from Samurai confides in his folding zord every night describing his feelings of imposter syndrome and fear knowing he's basically just a pawn to both his father and mentor Ji meant to do nothing but serve as a "protector" of his sisters identity so she can eventually seal Master Xander away despite it more than likely being at the cost of his own life. His zord can do nothing but show him slight tricks to make him smile and send feelings of security and care hoping that he understands that despite the horrible father figures in his life he will always be there with Jayden and if that means fighting till the bitter end and attacking anyone who dares to mess with him he will.

Astronema/Karone expressing to her Galactabeast her fears of becoming evil again and the guilt she feels becoming the new pink Galaxy Ranger after Kendrick's untimely death and fuck it maybe she expresses a feeling of wanting to become evil again just so she can have the power she once had before. She also showcases her love for Andros and her hatred of the dark forces for stripping her away from her childhood and from her brother because even after they were defeated he and her never seemed to get back on the same level they were on as children.

Or on a much lighter note Emma from Megaforce laying in her bedroom telephathically giggling with her Phoneix zord, catching her up on all the school drama and describing the major crush she has on Troy only for her zord to send back emotions of happiness and urges of confession trying to espress to Emma that all she has to do it tell Troy because she may or may not have heard from his zord that Troy may or may not feel the same way about Emma.
