Loving this anime so far, potentially the best of this season. It's faithful to the manga and honestly if you're not watching it already you need to. It is amazing

Protect the adorable floof.

I love how he is pushing her out in order to help her overcome her fears and honestly I love it. He treats her like a human while speaking in a harsh way.

Pay attention to his actions because if you take him at face value then you will see him as a bad person however his actions do not reflect this, he gives her better meals than what he himself eats, he comforts her when she has nightmares, he pushes her to overcome her fears so that she can help prevent other children going through what she has.

She lost her family and friends in front of her. She was traumatised as most people would be seeing their parents be killed in front of them and because of this she is terrified of monsters and blood.

He pushes her to fight to overcome this so she can protect herself and those around her and help prevent other children from going through such a traumatic experience.

After watching the latest episode (Ep 15) it is clear to me that the animation staff at 8bit care a lot about the anime as I have yet to notice a drop in quality since the anime began. It still looks beautiful. Also it's one of my favourite anime airing right now.

It is faithful to the manga (I haven't read the light novel bit I'm assuming it is faithful to that as well) so if you can't wait for more then I'd recommend reading one of them.
