light an unwavering constant even amongst dark skies it wasn’t yesterday or those melancholy things but the embers threading a tomorrow where we are the peace — she wandered but could never hide, offering hope as she rose & safety as she set —

we seek when we’ve already been found what is this place we sentence ourselves where our own greatness is oft not realized stand tall, face forward, breathe—for you & me—always send sunshine

these things we cannot see

.. you have suffered so another shall not .. how else might we explain the excruciating injustice inflicted on those worthy? somewhere in the writ before rebirth a contract signed, a sacrifice of oneself so an innocent may survive
