wishing for the impossible

my tc just got deployed and won’t be here for my graduation.. I feel devastated, but he wrote me an email before he left just for me :,)

oh how I miss arriving at school the same time as my tc in the morning and walking together in the halls :,) he always made it a point to talk to me :,))))))))) my heart hurts

so in about a week I’m going to leave to Washington DC and attend a summer program at a university. My flight, room and board, and meals are all covered by a scholarship that my tc wrote a letter of recommendation for. I wanna thank him for helping me get this great opportunity but I’m not sure how :/ y’all got ideas?? I really didn’t think I’d get chosen for this scholarship because it’s really competitive! My tc is my good luck charm :,) couldn’t have done it without him. ❤️

I’ve always had this recurring dream that at graduation my tc would give me a long and heartfelt speech, congratulate me, hug me, and kiss me on the cheek. I’m a senior now... let’s see what happens 👀
