“I might. I like books.”

“My favorites are the book hauls and the unboxings.”

“They’re great. So far. I keep getting their plots mixed up because I read them at the same time instead of finishing one and moving on to the other. But, they’re good.”

“I could not do that. I wouldn’t know what characters belonged where or what was happening at all.”

“I feel like nothing interesting ever happens here,” Trystin mumbled, sort of to himself. He was beginning to wonder why he had left his place in New York to come to this place. 

“I’d have to agree with you on that one. All anyone does is work, go to school, and sleep.”

           “i - i got an email ba - back from one com - company. one out of ten, and they don’t want to publish my - my book.” she shook her head, a deep sigh escaping her lips. “now, i’m just wa - waiting on t - ten other companies to call me - me a failure and t - tell me that i - i’m wasting my time and m - money, too.”

“Just wait it out. I’m sure that one of them is going to love your book. It may just not be every companies cup of tea.”

“I - I uh, have tons of books that I - I don’t plan to do anything wi - with. Do you want them?”

“Really? What books and are they in good condition?”

“ To each their own yet. I have some doubles if you’d like them. ”

“Thanks for that but I’m really picky about what covers I want.”

“I hear you,” Trystin responded with a slight laugh. “My bookshelves are pretty much empty other than Hop on Pop and parenting books. What do you like to read?”

Sempy nodded with a smile. “I plan to have what could be considered a library. Mostly at the moment i’m liking young adult fiction.”

“I usually just read a book one time, and then after I read other books, there are some people that read the books they own over and over again, but it’s just somethin’ I can’t do that, I have tried before. How many books do you have?”

“I’m one of those people. I’ll reread books all the time because I tend to forget what all happened in them but I know that I liked them. Not a whole bunch right now but I’m hoping to one day have what could be considered a library.”

Why not? It’s relevant.

“No, I don’t think it is.”

“ Sounds fair. but if they’re poorly written, personally, I would want to know if I should devote my time to read it or find something better. But that’s just me. ”

“I still like to read them because we all feel differently about how books are written or what it’s about.”

“Oh. I really should’ve guessed that.”

“You should watch some.”

“I’m still working on Peregrine’s. And Coldest Girl in Coldtown. And Friday Society.“

“I haven’t gotten around to buying Peregrine’s yet and I haven’t heard of the other two.”

“There’s nothing wrong with that, is a really good idea, I would have a bookshelf too if I had enough books to put in it, but I just really have like three books, because I usually borrow other people’s books when I want to read it”

“I though it was a really good idea too. I really want to get back into reading and there is just something that I love about the  feeling of owning a book. Well, if that’s how you like it, you are welcome to borrow my books.”
