lilli-of-the-mountainâ:
âAh, yes, how could I forget. Certainly not as preferable as Australian attention or even American.âÂ
The mind Wrath reads is a direct contrast to Lilliâs subdued and slightly curt, demeanor. Her thoughts swirl with plans of things to be done around the household, for work, and even for church. When she can do this, can she schedule some time to do that, she needs to call Ludwig and she really should visit Gilbert soon to make sure he hasnât fallen into one of his depressive episodes and been neglectful of his health as a result.Â
However, underneath all of that is a slight tinge ofâŚsomething. Something Lilli herself does not even recognize or know is there. Something that has made her irritable, more prone to snapping when pressed, thatâs been lingering ever since that day with Kyle. She has been excusing it as perhaps being a bit too tired and stretched thin without even realizing its existence.
âWell?â Lilli asks after an unusually long silence from the sin. âDo you have anything more to say or are you just going to stand in my kitchen?â
Wrath wrinkles his nose. âThatâs different, and you know it.â Getting attention from a romantic partner is nothing like getting attention from a city full of demons.
Itâs almost hard to see through all of the worrisome swirl of thoughts that seems to flitter about like a summer breeze, but he sees it there. While she canât place what this lingering is, he can, and it causes him to tense up. Itâs his own, wrathful influence. It doesnât make ay sense since it was since she was hanging out with Kyle, so whyâ
Any annoyance Wrath feels towards Lilli due to her current state washes away almost immediately, and it turns to worry. Oh, no.Â
"Whateverâs going on will wear itself out,â he says. His chest and throat feel tight. He canât actually have nice things, can he? Not without a fucking catch. He swallows as if to open a bit of space up in his throat just to speak. His expression is unreadable. âIâm really sorry about all of this.â
