He was verifiably shown to be patrolling the streets cleaning graffiti, putting out fires, and rendering first aid to injured people.

He shot three violent criminals, one who had openly threatened to kill him repeatedly that same night and is verifiably shown to have pursued and tried to ambush him, one who assaulted him, and one who was carrying an illegal gun he was not allowed to have, which was being pointed at Rittenhouse when he was shot in the arm.

the video has more dislikes than likes. the comment section is full of bullshit. they’re disgusted that apparently an australian lesbian directed the movie (i’m not sure if its true), so many men feel emasculated by this. some of them said things like “women can’t take a compliment” and all that shit.

I also read a review of the ad and someone said that this ad was “clearly by a group of men largely out of touch on what these contemporary issues of sexual harassment and bullying actually are” and “didn’t have to sound so male privilegey”

The parody is even more disgusting to watch. They took women hitting in self defense, women sexually abusing men and trans women correcting men on their preferred pronouns, equated it to toxic masculinity and ridiculed both women who are actually suffering and the company and men for denouncing toxic masculinity

The ad perfectly said something about toxic masculinity very well, with the right type of montages and how exactly the issue must be resolved, like okay the filmmaking maybe was off but that’s no excuse to criticize what is being said.
