"doing it for the plot" is reserved for men only
what women call doing it for the plot is really just delaying their own good by entertaining men who half-meet their requirements
men are good at "doing it for the plot" because they dont catch feelings
a man will date you for years, impregnate you, watch you birth his offspring then leave without a trace cause he found someone better
women fool themselves into thinking they have the same mental fortitude as men
the ugly guy you gave a chance just cause you're bored, the guy you met on a trip that you're entertaining just as a fling, the coworker you'r sleeping with just for fun
you'll end up catching feelings, heartbroken, sniffling on your way to your therapist
what starts off as a "for the plot", ends up a 5 year relationship where you become attached to someone you should have never given a chance to begin with
go ahead and do yourself a favor and date with PURPOSE
if you're 18-21 i'll give you a slack
but if your grown GROWN, you need to be strict with who you let into your life, your "cut off" game needs to be strong
you're never going to meet the man you want because you're too busy doing side quests and taking detours entertaining walking red flags because it's fun
unlike men, who never really "grow" in love, but know from day one whether you are their type or not
women can very well "grow" in love
if you stay long enough in a relationship, if you entertain someone long enough, it doesn't matter if he's your physical type or not, he WILL grow on you and you will become attached
unless you're a a cold hearted next level manipulator, i'd say do yourself a favor and treat your time and energy as precious ressources only reserved for the elite!
