it's funny when terfs try to hold the idea that "real" women are uncomfortable around trans women over our heads, as if being uncomfortable around marginalized people isn't literally just bigotry. like yeah lol, cisgender women do tend to be transmisogynists, that's not news to me at all
I mean, statistically and anecdotally their statement is untrue to begin with, because the average cis woman does not hate us!
Cis women on average are far more likely to accept trans people or hold a positive view of trans women than cis men, and especially those cis lesbians that TERFs so often claim to be defending.
That doesnt mean cis women will always be tolerant, or that even nominally accepting women wont hold mistaken or even transmisogynistic beliefs, and some cis women are raging bigots, but as a whole cis women are not so scared of trans women as TERFs would like you to believe, and it is vital to remember this.
Transphobes say they are waging their campaigns of hatred on behalf of cis women, but this is a lie. It has always been a lie, and it remains a lie to this day.
