i moved summer time last to a big city! it's kind of weird, and the jury's still out on how i feel. i met someone who i've very much so fallen in love with. i want to spend as much time with them as i can. i also have a new job and have taken my twitch streaming career more seriously.

you wander through the mass of people in the bar. careful to move towards your f/o's drink unnoticed. it's easy to become lost in a crowd. your f/o and their friends step away from their drinks. opportunity has handed you more this evening. you take a sip from your drink and then place it down on the table. close to your f/o's drink. you add a substance from a flask in your jacket to your drink. nobody would question someone adding something to their own drink. you slide your flask back into your jacket and press the glass to your mouth. you don't drink any though, it's just for show. you set it back on the table and turn to get a look at the bar's scene. your f/o and their friends are working their way back to the table.

"hey, F/O. we picked the same bar to vibe at." you give a one handed wave to your f/o as they and their friends return.

"hey, Y/N!" your f/o greets you over the music and voices of the bar. you turn back to the table and grab your f/o's drink. it’s the drink you would expect them to get. you know your f/o so well. you got the same drink. your f/o leans near you to pick up the swapped drink. you lean in a little and get a good whiff of the smell of your f/o's hair.

smells good.

for the next fifteen minutes, you hang out with your f/o and their friends. you watch as they greedily drink down the mixed drink. you sip at the drink now in your possession. just a bit of alcohol for the night will do you fine. tonight is about your f/o. as the minutes pass you move closer to your f/o. you know each other fine enough. to your f/o's friends you are another good friend.

the effects of the substance added to the drink begin working. your f/o starts to wobble and lean against you more. their breathing grows more ragged each passing moment. you watch as their cheeks flush red and their eyes grow just the slightest bit hazy.

"woah there, F/O," you brace them and hold them up, looking at your work "let me get you home." your f/o mumbles protest and you look at their friends and have a laugh. they agree that your f/o needs to get home.
