Avenge the Fallen[Avengers VS BEAST]
Complete and utter destruction.
Nothing was left of the city in the wake of whatever had been obliterated from the beasts belly, leveling the entire city in nothing but a matter of seconds from the force of the blast. Captives killed when unguarded, and those that were remaining were all counted lucky with the powers that had been restored from the initial impact from the blast. Dust, mountains of dust and rubble were all that scattered over the city and the landscapes.
A large, rainbow like reflecting mirror was covered in front of someone who had survived the initial explosion of the beast. The winds of the beasts movements cause his hair to flow rapidly around him. The motionless creature, standing so much taller over the man was like a ant to a human. The dust cleared the vision, as the eyes of panic and despair were flooded in his eyes. How could they not be? It was like staring down a grim reaper of death, and being surrounded by nothing. No friends, no help, only himself was all he could see for right now. The beast was rampaging around nothing but the remains of the buildings that have yet to fall down from its own power. The man’s favorite jacket was in shreds, and it was only by luck of his power being restored and the advanced equipment of the duel disk on his arm that he was able to protect himself from this beasts attack.
It was all he could think about, knees giving out in the fear and despair around him. What could he do? His powers had returned for the moment, looking down at the familiar millenium puzzle around his neck. His partner…was not here. Nor were any of his friends. It was him, and him alone against something that looked unbeatable. What kind of monster had such power? What could he do to such a thing that could obliterate a city into dust like that. It was over…
What was this? Words. Words were being spoken to him, but from where? Eyes gestured around, confused at the sounds his ears were picking up. There was no one nearby, no one he had sensed at the moment. Survivors were near, yes. However, he did not pick up anyone close by. The voice was…familiar too. What could this be? It was then he closed his eyes. It was….his heart? Someone was speaking to him?
Eyes opened up, inside of his very soul to look onto the face of the one person he knew who linked to this voice inside. His partner….
“Yugi?! How are you here?! It cannot be. You were brought into this world again?”
“ No, I am speaking to your heart. I am not with you physically. Remember what joey said? We would be with you in spirit always. And it is time you remembered that you are never alone. We are always in your heart. No matter how badly things are, we are always here. You, are always there to help those in need, Pharaoh. Remember; You never give up! Believe in yourself! It’s your move!”
The pharaoh was taken back, as tears came to his eyes at the words. So strong…and so sincere to him. A smile came to his face, wiping his eyes as he nodded. “ That is right. I had not been able to see it, but I have not been believing in myself, and in my own “Heart”. I can feel it now…there is something I can do here. By the name of the pharaoh, I am going to stop this thing. “
A powerful, blinding yellow light came radiating out of the pharaoh’s puzzle, as the eyes of the great king of games opened up once more. The millenium symbol appearing on his forehead with the activation of the duel disk over his left arm. Deck shuffled up rapidly before a right hand was placed over his deck, drawing one card from it to begin his own battle against this thing! Eyes did not even look at the card, as he willed it into the very embodiment of the card he wanted to summon.
“O’Great beast of war, I beseech thee to come onto the field of battle from across the dimensions. Come forth and grace the field of battle with your fists of destruction and wreak havoc on those who dare to upset the balance in the feet of the pharaoh. Come and do battle within the name of yourself. I Summon...Obelisk the Tormentor!!!”
The blue, shaded card was placed onto the duel disk with a firm flex of his two fingers. Blue lighting sparked rapidly from his duel disk, appearing to dissolve around him and head up into the darkened clouds of the day. A blasting wave of multiple lightning plots came flooding from the sky, catching the beasts attention as it roared up at the sky, sensing a presence that semi-threatened it. From the foundation of the clouds, appearing down onto the field of battle with a mighty clap of thunder, standing at roughly one hundred and ninety feet tall with wings spanning out, was the god. Dark blue in color, a vicious set of jaws and two huge, building sized fists ready to do battle under the pharaohs name. Looking over at the beast, who had challenged the pharaoh, it roared ready to fight.
“Obelisk….FIST OF FATE!!!!!”
Right fists balled up, collecting a huge amount of magical and destructive force into its right hand to form the foundation of the attack. Drones of the beast in front of obelisk were being stomped by its steps. Force and strength to level towers with ease as it approaches the face of the beast, right hand cocked back and thrown forward to send a massive wave of pure rage and force at the beast. Strength alone was not enough to force this beast back, but it would be the setting stage for the greatest battle.
