first of all, i think it’d take him a while to confess to you, but only because it’d take him forever to comprehend that he has feelings for you. I mean, he’s never felt like this towards anyone before, not that he had the chance to anyway.

what made it obvious though, was how fidgety he was, him stumbling over his words, and of course, him not being able to even hold eye contact for too long.

if he did try to hold eye contact, he’d just be even more of a flustered mess.

when it comes to dating, he’s definitely on the more clingier side.

he just loves to be around you, honestly, you don’t even have to say a single word and he’d still be happy.

however, it might become just a bit overwhelming with how much he’d hover over you 24/7.

all you have to do is tell him, and he won’t hesitate to give you space.

he’ll just be a bit sad…and maybe try to guilt trip you with puppy eyes and a frown so that you’ll let him in your personal bubble again.

but he means no harm, he swears! he just has to make sure you still love him, and not hate his guts.

getting into arguments with silver would be pretty rare, most of the time it would just be playful bantering, in fact, he tends to completely avoid it out of fear of upsetting you.

if you do get into an argument however, with him being at fault, he’d just sit there with his ears flat against his head with a frown, avoiding eye contacts and looking straight at the ground.

that usually leads to you feeling bad and comforting him at the end of the day.

you could never stay mad at him for too long, especially with the way he’d try to make it up to you with flowers, candy, just anything he knows that you’d love.

even if the argument was forever ago, it’d still linger in his mind.

silver tends to get insecure at times about the relationship. he can sometimes doubt that he’s enough for you.

he just needs a bit of reassurance from time to time. after that, everything would be water under the bridge!

he loves you so much, so please don’t leave him.

𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂; sonic would do it purposely. every time he’s near you, he runs in laps around you, and you being clueless as ever, just took it as him wanting to blow some steam off by running. it did take you a while to actually comprehend what exactly was going on. you had heard from amy about it once, and here it was, happening to you.

“sonic?”

you spoke out, watching the blue hedgehog’s every move in confusion as he discreetly circled around you.

you noticed his speed increasing by the second. just what was he doing?

“hm?” he responded back to you, playing oblivious, but that slight smirk on his face told you otherwise.

“just what exactly are you…doing?” as the words came out your mouth, you had suddenly came to realization.

sonic noticed the way you froze up, and couldn’t help but smirk a bit wider.

“finally get it?”

that damn tone..

“you stupid hedgehog…” you murmured out, but even so you couldn’t stop the smile that became present on your face, walking over and giving the boy a kiss on the cheek.

“i love you too.”

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐖; shadow would do it unintentionally. he’d never notice when he would circle around you frequently whenever you two were with each other. and if he did notice, he’d stop immediately out of embarrassment. you, however, never did acknowledge it, thinking it was just yet another weird thing shadow liked to do. the one who would notice it was rouge, the sly bat would tease shadow about. the second she first noticed it.

you, shadow, and rouge were currently on a mission at the moment. you hated being in the forest, especially having to past or even go through multiple bushes.

you snapped out of your thoughts when you heard a faint sound of rouges chuckling

you looked around in confusion. no one has said anything for the past 10 minutes, so what was she chuckling about?

that’s when you finally noticed.

“uh…shadow?”

your voice had snapped the dark hedgehog out of his thoughts. only now did he realize what he had been doing.

shadow’s muzzle was painted with a slight pink hue as he looked at you, sparing rouge a quick glance— well, glare.

before he could get a word out, rouge already spoke for him.

“it seems the all ultimate life form is in love.”

well that was embarrassing. for shadow at least.

𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐑; silver would do it in excitement. every time he sees you it’s as if his body’s on autopilot. tail wagging as he had that stupid lovestruck smile on his face. silver’s not good at hiding his feelings, if it isn’t obvious enough. even if he wanted to, he just couldn’t. he’d just be a bit too shy to just outwardly admit his feelings though. so he makes up for it by his actions.

silver was circling around you, as he rambled on and on about whatever was on the top of his head.

he loved talking to you, he never wanted the conversation to end!

oh how he wished he could just confess already, he’s way too scared of rejection to do that.

no matter how many times blaze had already reassured him that your feelings for him was obvious, he just couldn’t wrap his head around it.

you, liking him?

that seemed nearly impossible for the boy.

“silver, did you have too much sugar today or something?” you questioned the boy with a slight tilt of your head.

sure, he’s always been pretty lively, but man, he seemed over the moon today.

flustered as ever, the hedgehog stopped his rambling, trying to get a word out, but he just kept stumbling over his words.

you had already been aware of how he felt, and the meaning behind his actions. you were just waiting for the moment he’d officially confessed.

with a chuckle, you simply said.

“you’re so cute, silv.”

silver.exe has stopped working.

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐖; shadow’s the type to practically teleport to you the second he thinks you’re in danger. so when he heard a shriek coming from you while you were in the bathroom, he wasted no time in running straight towards the bathroom.

what he wouldn’t expect is to see you standing on top of the toilet seat, acting as if the floor was lava or something. is this really the same (y/n) he’s with every single day? the one who taunts any and every enemy they encounter?

at first he deadpanned, shock being mixed somewhere in there, but only a second later, he couldn’t help but be amused. he was definitely going to use it as blackmail. however he would in fact help you get rid of whatever “wretched beast”(in your words) that was trying to attack you, watching you laugh the situation off right after.

after all he didn’t want his dear (y/n) in danger…even if the little bug was no where near a threat.

𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐑; silver wouldn’t even have time to try to laugh at you, who usually showed no fear no matter what the situation was, for getting worked up over something so small…since he was right on top of the toilet seat with you. the two of you clinging onto each other, throwing hairbrushes, towels, etc at the little spider who was simply trying to survive.

silver tried to be heroic and kill it, but the second he made eye contact with those beady eyes, he ran straight out of the bathroom. nuh uh. no way was he going through that. he eventually came back, with blaze trailing right behind him. both you and silver looking at her with horrific expression when she calmly picked up the spider, holding it in her palm all the way until she let it out in the backyard.

the two of you swore on your life not to tell anyone about that treacherous encounter with the little spider.

𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂; sonic easily gets jealous, without a doubt, though, he prefers to keep it hidden out of embarrassment(and because of his ego), completely unaware how obvious it is from the beginning. the subtle twitch of his eye, the speedy taps of his foot, the silence coming from him, anyone from a mile away could tell that something about the famous blue hedgehog was off. he tries his hardest not to worry about it in his head, watching you laugh and talk with your friend. what could possibly be that funny for you to be laughing that hard? he could make you laugh ten times harder! i mean, he’s the fastest, coolest, and hottest thing on the planet. you were lucky to have him, really! no one could top him, no one, so why would you ever want to leave him? you wouldn’t, you just couldn’t, right?

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐖; shadow’s jealousy simply comes out as possessiveness and slight self doubt. he feels as if he’s lacking something whenever he sees you and (f/n) getting closer by the day. what makes it even worse? you keep spending all your time and attention on (f/n), something he should be getting! do you enjoy their company more than you enjoy his? are you having second thoughts on the relationship? do you not want him anymore? are you going to leave him? no, no, you tell him everyday that you’d never leave because you love him. you wouldn’t lie to him about something like that, would you? shadow can’t help the scowl that’s been present on his face for the past few days. making him look grumpier than usual. he won’t lose to this fool, he won’t let them have you.

𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐑; silver was practically beaming with excitement at the thought of seeing you. ecstatic even. he just couldn’t wait. with how busy he’s been lately, he hasn’t been able to spend any time with you, and sadly it was affecting him quite horribly mentally. but no worry! the date you two have planned today should make up for all the time he’s lost. walking into the cafe, the white hedgehog’s eyes immediately darted to you. the wide smile he had on his face previously getting wiped straight off. who was that? why are you talking to them? to avoid himself from overthinking more, he quickly made his way to you and this…stranger. noticing the boys narrowed eyes and frown, you assessed the situation to him. an old friend you say? do old friends usually stand that close to each other? the whole time he just couldn’t focus, fidgeting with his thumbs, shifting in his seat in uneasiness, his ears were completely down on his head. this was supposed to be his day with you. not this “old friend’s” that just appeared out of nowhere. he hated this. he could feel the tears well up in his eyes. it made him feel so stupid. getting jealous over something as small as this. is that why you chose (f/n) over him? were you tired of him and his constant need for reassurance? no…you weren’t that kind of person. he was just overthinking, stuck in his stupid thoughts like always. he knows you love him, you always tell him. he’ll just have to…endure it.

𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐄; scourge would never admit the fact that he’s jealous. he hates confrontation, and quite frankly, it would take a blow to his ego. but of course, there would be hints of his jealousy. he’s not good with controlling his facial expressions, nor keeping his mouth shut. just by the way he kept insulting your friend right in front of their face as if it was nothing told you all you needed to know. you couldn’t help but feel awkward though with the whole situation, especially with the way scourge’s grip on your waist kept getting tighter every time your friends’ eyes fell on you. scourge was getting irritated. why couldn’t they just go away? they’ve already taken up enough of your attention, not like they deserve it anyway. your attention should be focused on him, and only him. so why the hell are you still talking to them when he’s right beside you. he just couldn’t wait to get this over with, so you can go back to focusing on him, like you always do.
