I’ve learned that society is constantly sending very loud messages to women that exhibiting the physical signs of aging is the worst thing that can happen to us.

oh hi there buddy @taylorswift! it’s Cee here, with a brand new blog because Tumblr suspended the og seleniftie for no apparent reason. I don’t feel legitimate doing this because you’ve already done so much for me, but I’m even more terrified by the idea that you’d think I left you. So I just wanted to make this little post to tell you that if you want to follow me again, here is my new blog, @seleniftiee (just like Cee. seeing the bright side of this situation and staying positive cause that’s what you noticed in me). I love you so much and hope to see you soon again! 

this is cee!!!! you may remember her as @/seleniftie - you followed her back in 2015, reblogged her in 2017, liked a ton of her posts, and then met her last year!!! i’ve became her friend in 2015 (because of you!!!) & she’s been like a sister to me ever since. in fact, in 2017 she made a follow list with me on it and you followed me because of her!! but here’s the thing, her blog just got terminated & she lost your follow :( can you please follow her new blog @seleniftiee? ❤️ this would mean the absolute world to both of us!! when you guys met, you said that her blog always made you feel better && that you saw her posts all the time - perhaps we can continue this??
