I'm not suprised with the results of Aladdin being number 1 and Eugene/"Flynn" being number 2. I totally agree with these results. 😁😉
Ironically, I actually think Aladdin's friendship with his pet monkey and animal sidekick, Abu, has some loose similarities to Sonic and Tails' friendship (though Abu's addiction jewels is more a Rouge trait then Tails'), only with a big brother and little brother relationship rather than a boy and his pet.
I also think that Eugene and Maximus' oppostes-attract frenemyship has some similarites to Sonic and Knuckles's friendly rivalry and Vitriolic Best Buds friendship.
In terms of Sonamy, I think they're relationship dynamic is closer to Rapunzel and Eugene's relationship in terms of their interactions (plus Rapunzel can wield a frying-pan with as much ferocity as Amy wields her hammer, lol 🤭).
See 1:47 to 2:02 (though I think Sonic and Eugene have mutual sass in 2:10 to 2:15):
I guess that Aladdin and Jasmine are similar to Sonic and Amy in that both pairings are adventurous free-spirits.
