a/n : dedicated to my love @shourbet hepi birthday! sorry for my poor writing :( english is not my first language. please ask me any question if you feel smth off in my plot, pacing etc. I will try answer and correct any mistakes. hope you enjoy!
summary : Today is your birthday ! You expect your boyfriend, Isagi would throw an extravagant surprise for you. But his plan is the complete opposite as yours and suprisingly, your mom is helping him too. Would the surprise turns into something meaningful or turn out into a disaster?
Today is your birthday and you feel super excited about it. You wondered what your boyfriend, Isagi planned for you today. A party? Picnic-date? Dinner at an expensive restaurant? Or...a trip to HAWAII?! Uh... maybe until he wins the World Cup.
After you finish showering, you make your way towards the kitchen, only to be met by an Isagi, cooking breakfast while humming a song as he swayed his hips, following the rhythm. You let out a giggle at his funny behavior. He always keeps you entertained by making some random stuff (that you found cute) without noticing it.
"Yoichi." you softly called as you walk towards him.
He swears, his heart dropped ten feet to the ground when he saw you standing at the doorway. It was a miracle he didn't get a panic attack.
"Babe! You scare the shit out of me!" he shouted, one hand clutching his shirt as he eyed you up and down-He wonder if it is really you or a ghost that messing up with him. You burst into laughter at his dramatic expression—seriously, if meme faces had an award, your boyfriend would be the winner.
How long has she been standing there? He thought. Don't say that-
That's when he realizes, you had seen everything. All his stupid, silly-embarrassing things he made earlier. With a groan, he covered his face, silently cursing his foolishness for what he'd just done. Oh, how grateful he would be if the ground solely swallowed him up now.
"You see all of it don't you?" he asked. As you kept smiling at him, proving his suspicion as he sighed in defeat.
"Why were you sighing? It's cute. Plus, it made my day 10 times better!" you squeal, laughing cutely as the tip of Isagi's ears turn red. You can't help but to teased your boyfriend a little. Besides, it's rare to see Isagi like this.
"Fine." he replied, sounds defeated.
"Oh, before I forgot, your mum called me earlier. She said she wants you to accompany her today." Isagi noted as he pointed the rack of plates.
Without a word, you walked towards the plates and began helping Isagi to set up the table.
After seconds of silence, you finally broke it.
"She called?" you asked curiously. It's rare for her to suddenly calling Isagi when your mother can just call you. It's a bit suspiciou-
"Yeah. I guess she really missed her daughter so much. Well, the last time we visit your mother was a month ago." he answered before you could finish your thoughts.
"Hurmmm maybe... I guess we just pay her a visit this afternoo-" Before you could finish, your boyfriend once again cut you off.
"Umm... babe before that, your mom actually want only you to accompany her..." Isagi confess, "She told me! earlier...when she called...HAHA!" your boyfriend awkwardly laugh, scratching the back of his head with the most robotic movements.
You noticed the way Isagi nervously fidgeting the hem of his shirt as if he's hiding something from you. The only time you see Isagi like this was when you caught him watching a picture of you cooking (that he took secretly) , and he still won't confess even when you had caught him red handed.
That's why you can't help but to think that your mom and Isagi was planning something and they won't spoil what crazy things they plotting to you!
Well, if they want to play secrets on you, then you will play it with them.
"Hmmmmmm, okay then!" you replied cheerfully. Your excitement and naiveness acting made Isagi breathe in relief. Little did he know, her sweet girlfriend was a good actress and he had been pranked by you.
Without wasting any time, Isagi pull your chair and beckon you to sit before he sat in front of you. Then, you two start to dine in. -
After helping Isagi and freshen up, you and your boyfriend are ready to go to your mother's house.
After hours on the road, the familiar sight of your childhood place came into view. "It's been a while since i stepped my foot here." you thought. As you bid your goodbye to Isagi, you make your way towards the door.
Before you could knock on it, the door suddenly opened, and there stood your mother, looking as beautiful as she always was. "MY HONEY Y/N!"
"Hi mom. How are you? Have you eaten?" you greeted, giggling at the childhood name she always called you while hugging her as she hugs you back.
"I'm fine Y/N. No need to worry. Your mom is as strong as she was in her younger days," your mom replied as she started flexing her visible muscle with a grin. "And yes, I had my meal earlier."
You smile in response, glad that your mom was doing well. Without a moment to waste, she lightly grabbed your hand and led you inside.
-
It really brought you back to your old times when you used to chatted with your mother this casually. You two have been talked for over an hour and still, you two can't bring yourself to end this conversation. The stories keeps piling up, the questions keeps increasing, and for some reason, the conversation keeps getting more… intense.
"So," your mom starts, curious for what kind of question would she ask this time. Then suddenly, a mischievous smile appear on her face as she keeps maintaining eye contact with you. That smile of hers really creeps the freak out of you and you got the feeling that her question might-
Then, "When will you and Yoichi get married?"
You have known a while ago that this conversation would ended up being like this but still, you can't help to feel quite startled for this question.
"Ahahahaha, mom how about we take a quick snack? Talking makes me hungry!" you awkwardly smile as you avoided her question then walked towards the kitchen. Your mom just stare at your figure, opening that one cabinet full of your favorite snacks that she stored for you. She then let out a heavy sigh, fully aware of your scheming is to avoid her question. Well, it's your choice to answer the question or not. It's your personal life and she shouldn't be interfering it any further. "My honey Y/N, it's okay if you choose not to answer my earlier question. I'm sorry for being to pushy." your mom apologized as a smile formed on her wrinkled yet delicate face. You smile as a response to your mom.
"Thanks for being considerate mom." you replied. It's not like you've never thought about getting married with Isagi but with how busy and packed his training + tournament schedule was, you can't found a time to discuss this matter with Isagi.
"Your welcome honey."
_
"Mom, make sure you eat your dinner okay? And don't forget to call me." you repeated for the third time, worried that your mom might forgot her dinner because of how tired she might feel today. Besides, you two is the type to chatter until tomorrow morning and would not feel tired after all.
"Usually, the person sending you away will tell you to contact them but i guess this is good too." your mom replied, already tired of hearing your constant blabbering.
"Huh, fine but call m-"
"Y/N honey, don't worry about your mother okay? This woman may look like this, but in reality, even beast are afraid to get involved with her." your mom joke. You can't help but to find her jokes funny as you laugh uncontrollably that tears begin to welled up at the corner of your eyes.
"Well if you said so." you replied.
Suddenly, a loud honk sound startled the two of you as your eyes scanned the area, searching for the source of the honking sound. Your gaze stop when you see your boyfriend waving at you. A surge of happiness wash over you when you see your boyfriend's figure, walking towards you with a smile on his face. It's only been hours since you've been separated with Isagi but god- you miss him.
"Hi babe, did you miss me?" Isagi ask, his gentle yet calming tone was pleasent to hear.
"Not really. I have a good time with mom actually." you lied, not wanting to admit how much you missed him.
"Hurmm, is that so? Because your face telling me otherwise." Isagi emphasized, clearly unconvinced.
You let out a quiet sigh. You realize there was no point in lying to Isagi any longer.
"You know me too well Yoichi. That's not fair!" you whined playfully as you wrapped your arms tightly around him, His familiar, warm cologne surrounded you- a scent that would never be tedious.
"The answer's obvious. I'm your boyfriend for a reason." Isagi replied with a soft chuckle, hugging you back just as tightly.
After Isagi exchanged a few words with your mother, you bid her one last goodbye before heading towards Isagi's car. As you slid inside, you expect Isagi to follow, only to know that he still standing outside, chatting with your mother.
-
Isagi's POV
"How much does the preparations cost? Let me pay for it." Y/N's mom asked as she unlocked her phone, the familiar white glow illuminating her face as she began tapping something in her phone. A "ting" sound echoed around the surroundings. I took a quick glimpse of her phone and immediately recognize the banking app
Before she could finish entering the amount, I let out a startled yelp, making her flinch-Even I felt quite shocked and embarrassed.
"Ah- I'm sorry mother." I apologized without looking into her eyes. "But, don't worry about the payment. I already pay for it and it's not that expensive."
I really didn't want to burden her anymore than I already had. She look quite exhausted as it was.
"But, still..." she mutter, her grip on the phone tightening slightly.
"It's okay-really." I said gently. "You've already help me so much today. And, if you felt guilty about anything... just remember, if it weren't for you, none of this would've happened."
After I reassured her, she warmly smiled at me as she held my hands. Her hands didn't feel as smooth as it once had- lined with age and hard work- yet her touch was unmistakably comforting.
"Thank you, Yoichi. Please take care of my precious daughter." Y/N's mother said, the gentle warmth I felt earlier vanished as she let go of my hands.
I smiled, knowing fully well what she meant by it. "I will."
-
"What take you so long?" you asked, curious about what the two of them had been talking about.
Isagi paused, taking a quick glance of you. The way your eyes went round every time something piqued your interest- along with the way you keep nibbled on your bottom lip when you were nervous- It's was hard not to give in when you looked this cute, Still, Isagi refused to let his guard down over something this trivial.
"Yoichi, hello?" you called as you cup his face, pulling him out of his thoughts.
"Ahh- sorry sorry. What did you say babe?" Isagi lied, flashing you a lopsided grin, as he squinted his eyes and let out an awkward laugh.
You sighed in defeated, already sensing that pressing him any further would be pointless.
You knew, Isagi is hiding something from you and for a brief moment, it felt like you forgot something- but the feeling passed as quickly as it came, leaving only a faint scent of unease behind.
It took over an hour to reach you and Isagi's home. The two of you lived in a usually bustling, nosy residential area—but surprisingly, today seems unusually quiet.
After Isagi parked his car, he stepped out and, like the gentlemen he was, walked over to you. He opened the door as he extend his hand towards you, silently inviting you to hold it.
You giggled, the gesture made your heart flutter as you accept his invitation—the moment your hand meet his, he intertwined his fingers with yours, holding it as if it belonged there.
He helped you out of the car as gently as he could, careful with every movement as if even the smallest misstep might leave a scratch or scar on you.
"Oh—before that, babe," Isagi said, a hint of amusement in his tone, "can you close your eyes for me?"
You hesitated for a moment, but then realized there was no need to worry—Isagi was someone you trusted. As you closed your eyes, darkness clouded your vision, leaving you with nothing but heightened senses. Isagi's warm hand was the only anchor you had as he guided you forward, his touch is steady and reasurring.
A loud click echoed through the room as the door shut behind you. Isagi's hand still helds yours, though his grip had loosen slightly as he escorted you toward your shared apartment.
"Yoichi, can I open my eyes now?" you asked, impatient creeping into your voice.
"Oh—" Isagi released your hand. "Wait a minute..."
"Now?"
"Wait..." a soft rustling sound filled the room.
"Okay," he said at last. "open your eyes now."
The moment you did, you were left speechless. Isagi was kneeling in front of you— dozens of candle lights illuminated the apartment as hundreds of flower petals scattered across the cold floor. The only petals arranged neatly were the ones surrounding you, forming a familiar shape as you recognized instantly— a heart.
"Well—" Isagi begin, his lips curving into a nervous smile. "Happy birthday Y/N."
"I—" No words come out of your mouth because of how surprised you feel.
Sensing this, Isagi hurriedly added "First, I want to apologized if this isn't to your liking. I had a hard time in planning this— especially when you're the one who usually comes up with the best plans between us. I—"
"Yoichi," you cut him off softly. His attention snapped back to you. "I never said I didn't like it."
"I..." you crouched down, your fingers slipping into his as you pulled him up "love it, Yoichi."
Hearing your answer, Isagi let out a sigh of relief. He hadn't even realized he'd been holding his breath this entire time.
"I'm glad that you like it babe." Isagi replied as he leaned in, wrapping his arms around you as he tug you closer.
"But—" he added, pulling back just enough to meet your eyes. "I have another surprise for you."
Before you could ask him, he suddenly knelt down again, his hand rummaging through his pocket. Then— an unfamiliar red box appeared in his hand.
"Wait—don't say that—"
"Y/N." His voice trembled, hands shaking slightly because of how nervous he felt.
"I know this might be sudden..."
He slowly opened the red box, The moment felt as if time itself had frozen.
"But Y/N, I really—really—love you. From the moment I first laid my eyes upon you, my life changed. I can't imagine a single day without you by my side."
He shallowed, tightening his grip around the box.
"If the afterlife really exist, I would choose you again—and again. I want you to be the one who remains with me.
He looked up at you, eyes full of hope and fear.
"So... will you marry me?"
Without a moment to waste, you threw your arms around Isagi, hugging him so tightly that he lost his balance. The two of you tumbled onto the floor together.
"Babe!" Isagi exclaimed, laughing along with you, clearly amused by your sudden action.
The two of you lay there in silence without saying anything— finding comfort in each other's presence.
"Yes." you said suddenly, breaking the silence.
"W—what?"
"Yes! I want to marry you Yoichi!" You smiled, giving him the most genuine smile you've ever made.
Confusion was the only word that could describe how Isagi felt right now. He was too stunned to speak—unable to form or utter a word. It still doesn't feel real that you had accepted his proposal easily.
"Babe, did I hear you right? Am I dreaming? Can you pinch me?"
You leaned in and kissed him repeatedly. Your kiss is desperate yet feel with excitement.
"There, still dreaming?" you asked, trying not to laugh.
Isagi's eyes went round as he realized that he's really not dreaming. "I—it's real."
You giggled, he really was a meme-worthy.
The two of you finally stood back up after minutes of lying on the cold floor. Suddenly, your phone rang. When you glanced at the caller ID, you realized it was your mom.
"So, how was it?" your mom asked, grinning from ear to ear. "I'm waiting for a grandchildren."
"Mom! How did y-"
"It was our plan after all." Isagi suddenly interrupted, wrapping his arms from behing you. "Hi mother."
Your gaze shifted from Isagi and back to your mother, as she gave you her famous mischievous smile. Isagi on the other hand continued holding you close, his warmth feel extra-comforting today.
"I know it will turned out well." She said proudly. "After all, the two of you can't be separated from each other's."
"Well I'll be off now. Enjoy yourselves, you two!"
"Wait mom—" The called ended.
"Bye..." you mumbled, a pout form on your lips.
"Babe," Isagi called, turning you towards him. "We can just call her later."
"After all, she said enjoy ourselves right?"
Isagi was right. You need to enjoy this moment together. This is your birthday and you should celebrated it.
"Okay." you replied, wrapping your arms around Isagi's neck.
Isagi didn't waste any time as he leaned closer, hesitating just for a moment—as if silently asking for your permission.
Sensing his hesitation, you gently ran your thumb over his lips, your other hand sliding into his hair. You tilted your head up, closing the distance by yourself.
That was the only answer he needed.
Isagi's lips met yours, the kiss was not rushed yet it made you melt into it—your fingers curled into his shirt to steady yourself.
As if he coud read your mind, he quickly wrapped his arms around your waist—pulling you closer as the kiss deepened, his hold was firm yet tender.
When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, his breath is uneven as his thumb brushed gently over your lips.
"We should immediately get married."
a/n : Finally, i've finished this! I actually want to made this into a drabble but i got carried away. I don't really like the ending honestly. I don't know why but something felt off about it. But still, hope you enjoy!

ITADORI YUJI (the clingy type)
"Sweetheart..." yuji whines.
You were peacefully arranging the books at your library when he secretly sneaks his arm around you, resting his head on top of yours.
"Yuji! We're in public!" you angrily scolded him, eyes wide open as you scan the area. "What would people think if they sees us like this?!"
Despite your warning, Yuji kept tightening his arms around your waist, as if you would disappeared if he didn't have a hold of you.
"It's better that way..." he pouted, giving you this sad puppy eyes, making it harder for you to get angry at him any further.
"Yuji..."
After finished placing the last book in the shelves, you finally turned and face him properly. HIs arms are still on your hip but his grip was way more gentle than before.
"Tell me." you began. "Why are you acting like this?"
"Are you upset or what? If you need something, tell me so I can—"
"Can I kiss you?" he spoke out of nowhere, didn't even try to listen to what were you saying earlier.
Your eyes widened as you can't utter any word at his sudden request.
"W—what?" you asked back.
"I said," Yuji leans closer, his nose was only inches away from yours. "I want to kiss you. Can I?"
Smirking at you, knowing fully well that you couldn't resisted him.
"W—wait, baby. We're still on p—public!" you whispered frantically as your hands rested on his chest in hope he would stop. "W—what if someone—"
"Well, like I said before..." he murmured, holding eye contact with you. You swear if you moved even a little, your lips could touch at any moment. "It's better that way."
Before you could even process his words, a pair set of lips pressed against yours, desperate but gentle at the same time. The quiet library suddenly felt too small as the kiss deepened—the warmth of his mouth sent a jolt of electricity all over your body, wrapping your arms around his neck. You didn't even realized that you had kissed him back. Sensing this, Yuji immediately pushed you against the shelves— a book suddenly fell out from one of the racks, interrupting the whole moment.
With this chance, you lightly pushed him away, your face was a blushing mess as you couldn't bring yourself to look at Yuji's face.
"So..." Yuji murmured sheepishly, breaking the silence, scratching the back of his neck as his face too was as red as yours.
"You're jealous right?" You asked, already knew the main reason as to why he suddenly pulled up this act. "That's why you're doing this."
It was a lovely evening when you were sitting by the bench, a golden glow spread across your delicate face, oak trees swayed along the gentle breeze, responding along the quiet hum of nature—the once quiet park was unusually crowded today as you watched some kids played by the lake, a happy smile plastered all over their faces, and you couldn't help but to join in their happiness.
Lost in thoughts, your phone suddenly buzzed, pulling you back to reality. As you scrolled through your notifications, a familiar name caught your eye.
From: Gumi ♡ 04.24 p.m.
"Darl, I might be late. Something urgent come up." Megumi texted, three familiar dot appeared, indicating he still hasn't finished texting you.
From: Gumi ♡ 04.24 p.m.
"But—I'll wrap this up real quick. Spending time with you is my top priority. Can you wait for me?"
You texted back. "It's okay, take your time babe. I'll be here anyways. :)"
From: Gumi ♡ 04.25 p.m.
":)."
After reading his last message, you shut down your phone. You can't deny the small pang of disappointment with the sudden change of plans, but you swallow the feeling down, reminding yourself to respect him.
"Get a grip of yourself Y/N!" you exclaimed, both hands cupping your cheeks as if trying to shake some sense into yourself. "Instead of sulking here, It's better if I strolled around."
After minutes of walking, exhaustion eats you up. Even in the evening, the sun's rays still burn against your skin. As if, fate had heard upon your prayers, you spotted a bench tucked beneath a tree. Without a second thought, you headed toward it, sinking down as you let out a quiet sigh.
As you scrolled through your album, a deep voice suddenly cleared its throat, startling you. When you looked up, you saw a man—maybe in his early twenties, around your age. His face seems familiar, yet unfamiliar at the same time.
"Umm...do I know you?" you asked, breaking the silence.
His eyes widened before softening as he spoke. "I'm Yuki. Do I look that different from back then?"
Your eyes widen in realization as you remembered, the boy who used to be your neighbor, the runny nose kid—your childhood friend!
"Oh my god! Is it really you Yuki?" you exclaimed, patting the empty seat beside you, telling him to sit.
The two of you began talking about old times, recalling how he used to follow you around, too scared to even let go of your hands.
"H—hey!" he whined, face turned red instantly. "Don't bring that up. It's so embarrassing..."
You just laugh at him as he covered his face with his hands, too embarrassed to even look at you.
"By any chance," he paused, glancing at you before he spoke "are you seeing—"
"Darling." a deep, gentle voice interrupted your conversation. As you turned around, Megumi was standing there—arms tucked behind his back as the other one ran through his hair.
"Babe!" you exclaimed, jumping in excitement as you hugged him—arms circling around his neck as you rested your head against his chest.
Megumi smiled at you before he turned towards Yuki. His face was unreadable, yet his eyes were as cold as ice as they pierced through Yuki.
Yuki responded with an awkward smile, clearly unsure how to react.
"And who are you by any chance?" Megumi asked politely, yet his tone sounded demanding.
"Oh! babe. This is Yuki." you said, answering Megumi's curiousity. "The one I always talked to you."
Megumi still unconvinced, but he choose not to press any further as he hummed in agreement.
"Thanks for accompanying her. But now, I can take care of my girlfriend, we have a date actually." Megumi emphasized as he stared at Yuki, sneaking his hand to your waist, gripping it possessively.
"Okay, chill man." Yuki held his hand up in a defensive way. "Didn't know that she was taken."
Megumi rolled his eyes, not even trying to hide his annoyance.
"Well, I'll see you around." Yuki glanced at you, flashing you a warm smile before leaving.
After he left, Megumi instantly pulled you into a hug as he rested his face in the crook of your neck, inhaling your scent.
"If I knew some guy would try to flirt with you.. " Megumi pouted, jealousy written all over his face. "I would've just abandoned Gojo stupid call and—"
"Well it can't be help. If you didn't attend it they would keep disturbing our date." you cut him as you ran your hands up and down his back, soothing his tense muscle.
"But still—"
You shushed him, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
"Don't worry babe. I love you and only you."
OKKOTSU YUTA (the avoiding type)
"Yuta!"
"Uhh, hi love. I'm so sorry but I have class right now. We meet after okay? Bye!"
"Yuta, how about we—"
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry again love but Mr. Gojo asked me to help him with his project. I'll text you later!"
From: boyfie ♡ 11.35 p.m.
"Sorry love, the project took a really long time to finished. We'll meet tomorrow okay? Goodnight :) "
Okay. Enough is enough.
The next day, after one hour, two minutes and eleven seconds of circling through the male's building, you found yourself standing in front of Yuta's dorm—arms crossing with a scowl planted all over your face as you waited for him to come out.
Surprisingly, the door opened, revealing your boyfriend wearing only a white sleeveless top with a pair of sweatpants—his hair is a complete mess, sticking out in all directions as he ran his hands through it, trying to flatten the worst of the cowlicks. You're still mad at him for the thing he did yesterday, but oh god—the sight of him right now, you could just kissed him already.
"Love! What brings you here this early?" Yuta exclaimed, snapping you back from your thoughts as shocked written all over his face.
You really want to forgot yesterday event and just tell him, how hot he looked right now, but you still had a mission to do.
"We had enough time." you murmured, pushing the thoughts away as you glanced at your watch. "You have so much to explained to me."
Yuta sigh, head turned sideways to avoid your fearful gaze, knowing fully well what did you mean by that as he took a few step backwards. With a heavy heart, he opened the door and extended his hands, a gestured that he had invited you into his dorm.
After he shut the door, you make your way towards his bed, arms still crossing as you sit there—the bed was still a mess, meaning Yuta had just woken up.
"Why did you avoided me?" you started, looking up at Yuta, who now was stood up in front of you, didn't dare to sit beside you.
"I—" he hesitated, hands kept fidgeting at his shirt, before finally exhaling.
"I was jealous." Yuta confessed, eyes on the floor, too scared to look at you. "I saw the guy from the sports major kept hinting on you yesterday, I can—see the way he looked at you. H—he was interested in you!"
His jaw clenched, hands balling into a fist as he recalled back the event—you swear he might broke his jaw from how hard he gritted his teeth right now.
"So..."
Before he could finished, you suddenly burst into a laughter. Yuta finally shifted his gaze from the floor to you, pure confusion written all over his face. As your laughter finally died down, you finally spoke, "Yuta..."
You then stood up as you took a step closer towards Yuta. The moment slowed, as if the time moves according to your will. A surge of nervousness washed over Yuta as you kept getting closer and closer, until his back hit the cold wall—a faint smirk plastered all over your face.
"You know, Yuta baby..." you began, the sudden nickname made Yuta's heart raced, he hoped you couldn't hear how fast his heart beats.
"You look so cute right now," you leaned closer, hands tracing the curve of his chest as your lips teased the outline of his neck.
"L-love..." Yuta mumbled, face flushed because of your light teasing. "P-please... please sto—"
You shushed him, fingers pressing softly on his lips. "I'm not finished yet"
Yuta swallowed, eyes wide open as he pressed his lips tightly together.
"Actually..." you muttered, your tone softening. "I turned him down instantly before he could finish."
"Y-you what?"
You laugh, your voice was a music to his ears. "I turned him down..." you repeated. "He didn't get to finished what he's saying though."
"I even told him that you're my boyfriend—that shut him pretty fast. " you chuckled at the last sentence, recalling the look of the man's stunned face. After hearing the actual truth, Yuta let out a shaky breath, his head dropped to the crook of your neck, too embarrassed to even look at you.
"Wow." That's the only word Yuta could form right now. He was too stunned to speak. "I feel like an idiot right now."
Your lips twitched, trying to hold back your smile as you hugged him. "Don't worry I will always love my idiot boyfriend forever."
INUMAKI TOGE (the ignoring type)
Three hours.
Its already been three hours, and your boyfriend, Inumaki is still ignoring you. He just sat there at his desk, playing video games without caring much about you.
"Babe." you called.
Inumaki didn't even bother to look, nor replying to you. He continued to play—music in full volume so he couldn't hear you at all.
On the other hand, you were super frustrated with him. You don't even know what makes him to be this upset with you as he keeps on this stupid ignoring shit. You want to ask him if you did something wrong but, look at him now?
"Apologizes my ass." you mumbled.
Then, suddenly Inumaki turned his head around and face you, tired-looking eyes for hours of playing games, bore into your skull. You swear his face turned scarier than before.
You thought he already decided to tell you why did he ignored you but, he just glared at you and turned back to continue playing his games.
Alright, enough with this shit already.
"Inumaki Toge." you spat, arms crossed all over your chest as you gave him a deadpan looked.
That got Inumaki completely off guard as he turned his chair around and fully face you. A big 'GAME OVER' displayed on the screen, indicating that Inumaki has lost on the stupid game. "Deserve him." you thought.
Okay, let's get back to the actual problem.
"Babe, did I do something wrong? I'm sorry if I had upset you in some ways, but please tell me so I can apologize and not just ignored me. Just—let's stop this stupid shit and let's be honest with each other, okay?"
The heaviness in the atmosphere has finally been lifted as you let out the words you really want to say to him.
You thought Inumaki would keep being silence, but surprisingly he opening up to you.
"You—" he started. "You do nothing wrong..."
As he finished his sentence, pure confusion stretched across your face. Inumaki thought you must think he's crazy for the way he treated you earlier until now, only to tell you, that you did nothing wrong?
"And why do you keep ignoring me?" you questioned—teeth grinding as your brows knitted together, smiling but it doesn't even reach your eyes. Inumaki swears a chill ran down his spine at how terrifying you look right now.
"I was—I was jealous..." he confessed, averting your gazes as he recalled yesterday event when a random guy suddenly asked for your number, laughing comfortably as if he wasn't even there!
"So that's why you ignored me?"
"Y—yes"
Hearing his words, you slowly uncross your arms, lips curling up into a smile as you moved towards him and cupping his cheek.
"Auwwww, you're so cute~ how could I keep getting angry at you?"
