Sounds of Atlanta is a project. Involving everyday sounds from the environments we live in. I chose to do Lil 5 points, 5 points, Buckhead & GA Tech's campus. We collected sounds from each of these neighborhoods. With those sounds the students made tracks out of them. When hearing the tracks you should feel like you're walking thru these neighborhoods. We also got artist to paint, video or make a sculpture that represents that neighborhood & the music we made out of the sounds. For the next week the exhibit will be on display at GA Tech campus & then the artwork will then be placed in the communities that inspired them. (at Georgia Tech)
